Its been a long 7 years since I last watched anime everyday. But I'm startin to get back into it after watching some on Adult Swim. Blood+ is one of those, the series is awesome. I just watch Chrono Crusade a while ago and am started to get more interested in that. Its been like a month since I last watched Naruto, need to watch more of that as well. And of course we have Bleach. I might watch an episode of it tommorrow since my friend says its the best non-Naruto anime out there.

Anyway my favourite anime is Shakugan no Shana, great series and the films coming out sometime this month. Oh even though its only 4 episodes long, Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan or Clubbed to Death Angel Dokuro-chan or whatever its called is great :D Funny + Blood <3

Best anime is easily Full Metal Alchemist. Nothing comes close to the depth of the story. Bleach is rather addictive too.

"Welcome to the NHK" is really weird but recommended, about an anime nerd who stays in his apartment for four years due to paranoia and the loss of all social skills, apperently based on real life situations in Japan.

When I don't like an anime, it's usually because I found the characters to be a bit too cliche. Characters like Ichigo from Bleach, Iggy from Air Gear, and InuYasha from InuYasha - they just seem a bit too unhuman sometimes. Their storylines got a bit bland as well. Naruto began to go towards that path for me as the fillers just over elaborated his personality, but with the Shipuuden Arc revealing itself I'm beginning to get edgy on seeing some more!

I'm looking fowards towards a new movie called "Paprika" :) It's by the same creator of Paranoia Agent. I'm sure it'll be creepily comedic as well. I like that kind of shizzle.

Ninja edit: I have a couple of other titles that I enjoyed, I just can't remember because they had Japanese titles. i.e. Suzumiya Haruhi...who can remember that easily?

I've started watching Fullmetal Alchemist, Death Note and Avatar: The last airbender.
Haven't actually heard of Fullmetal Alchemist or Death Note until a friend told me about it, we where having a chat about Elfen Lied and how perverted he thought it was when he told me to have a look at them two.

I think Death Note is preety good.
But with FMA, its a strange story, but i really like it for some reason, ok his brother gets trapped in armour and he looses his arm and leg, doesnt mean they gta become alchmists but meh, its good ^_^

Yeah, DeathNote was good. I never finished watching it though, but I finished the manga. It's the only manga I ever read more than 70 chapters of. I actually don't like manga very much. Watching anime is so much better.

Finally! Someone else who likes AND remembers Gundam Wing! Seed was okay, G Gundam was better though. I have all the operations or seasons of Gundam Wing on DVD, and Endless Waltz was by far the best movie.

Gundam Wing was slick. Zechs Marquise was such a good character. You see his degeneration and fall into insanity. I hated Heero though, the guy was too emo. He was like Cloud with depression, posessing super emo powers :D Hated Releena too, it's just that the atmosphere for the series was perfect. There was no evil side, both had their motives. In the end, war simply seemed futile and useless. Noin was a pretty good character too.

I didn't like Seed cause it seemed to childish; war was seen as a game. There was no real motive as to why Kira would fight; protecting your closest friends is no reason to join the army. :nag:

Anyways, yeah I'd have to say wing's my favourite anime, although I'm getting really into death note. The suspense doesn't beat the departed, maybe on par with infernal affairs, although that wasn't the root they were going with that one.

Yep! Wing Zero is by far the coolest mecha ever designed. Followed by, the dragon one, (argh forgot the name) and Epyron. Oh and deathscythe and Heavyarms. Heck, they're all cool, cept for sandrock... I need to find the original gundam, practically every character in the series is based on this charz guy or something like that. (puts it on list of things to bootleg)

I never liked Gundam Wing. It couldn't compare to 08th MS Team or 0083. Especially 08th MS Team with the whole having to work together with regular mobile suits compared to how the Gundam's in Wing were taking candy from little kids. The fights felt that unbalanced.

Yea, I also finished Blood Plus. So much potentiol for a sequal. >.< However a prequel of Blood+ came out 5 years before the anime was started, so I can only hope for a sequal.

I came to the conclusion that Escaflowne is made of pure awesome after taking a 7 year break(?) from it. Well the fight scenes and military strat part are great. Yu-Gi-Oh is the most annoying thing ever. The first Yu-Gi-Oh was good (Mainly because the main characters "transform" was awesome and his voice was owning) but GX is just annoying. The beginning lyrics are just retardly annoying and get stuck in ur head (not in the good way.) The main character "Jaden Yuki" uses the same bloody cards all the time and doesn't realise some fit bird wants to have her taco split with his sausage.

Before i continue ive just listened to the Japenese version of the opening theme tune. Its 100 times better mainly because i can't understand what he is saying

and now for the lesser sentence i hate which is used in every fucking episode:

"Get your game on" < SHUTUP SHUTUP NOW. Not only does this sound unbelievably retarded and make u look like an idiot, why would u say it when A) ofcourse they are going to B) IT MAKES NO FUCKING SENSE.

Now for the overall sentence i hate in every episode:

"licious" Spelling?

For people who don't know, this is used by the fattest person in the cartoon (who also sucks at dueling, don't moan at me for calling him fat, his friends in the cartoon take the piss out of him for being fat anyway) he uses then when ever something bad or good happens (so its used every 10 minutes) Heres an example:

Jaden: damn the cheese has melted no i can't eat it cos its horrible.

Fat shit: Totally not-licious Jaden but awesome-licious for me cos im fat and can eat melted cheese.

Not only does this not make sense its just idiotic and makes him look stupid.

Now for the "short, scared, twathead" If you watch this program be prepared for a lot of "oh i can't win, i suck, im rubbish" in every episode.

Onto Alexis, some bint who if she was real would fall over alot from the weight of her breasts (note: all the female characters in the program have large breasts) She has a thing for Jaden and this is obvious. Fairly boring character.

Chazz: Probably the only overall cool one apart (I.e. he tells everyone to shutup alot which is good) from his 2 catch-phrases "Chazz it up" which makes no sense and "You go Bye-Bye".....................No...just no...its retarded, its worse then "Get your game on" I mean jesus. Were the developers locked in a char for a year trying to think of this and came up...with "you go bye-bye" i mean WHAT THE FUCK.

Their teacher: The man looks like woman (which is noted in the program constantly) and sucks at dueling...need i say more.

I came to the conclusion that Escaflowne is made of pure awesome after taking a 7 year break(?) from it. Well the fight scenes and military strat part are great. The love crap was so lame, I mean Hitomi and Allen wanted to bang anything that walked. Dilandow is a gangsta if there ever was one. "Its" girly men troops get off on that tranny slapping them.

Oh escaflowne is one of the few anime I could watch over and over again. But

i bought the 26-episode series of Hellsing at the beginning of the year. after having watched the 6th episode more than 2 months ago, i think i officially hate it. the English dubbing is England English which is cheesy. the dialogue's bad. and after the 2nd episode, the rendering also went downhill. so disappointing! ;__;

currently i'm watching Gantz.. up to Vol 3. can't yet decide whether i like it, it's so screwed up!! but the English dubbing's great and damn it's funny.

Yeah, I know PoT. It was the longest series I ever saw. Usually I go for the ones below 50 eps.

HELLSING HAS 26 EPISODES? SINCE WHEN? There's only 13, isn't there? Plus 2 OVAs. HOLY CRAP WHEN'D THE THRID OVA COME OUT?! Must... See. Yeah, as you can tell, I like Hellsing. I mean, there's no way I can dislike a dual pistol weilding vampire. Too bad his guns are physically impossible for any human to handle unless you're a body builder. Even then, the recoil would possibly fracture a bone or two.

A good action anime would be Black Lagoon. I don't know why I like it so much. It has almost no plot whatsoever, but it's pretty deep, and there are, once again, awesome dual guns. The thing is that the strongest fighters in the series are almost all female.

You could try Samurai Champloo if you want. I didn't like it that much. It didn't have any guns. :lol: jk.

D. Gray-Man also has some action, although it may be a bit weird. Like, killing monsters consists of hitting them with a giant hammer, slashing them with a deformed hand, kick them with very sharp boots, biting them, or, slashing them with a sword. Only one character has an actual weapon, everyone else has weird things they use to kill Akuma, these demon guys.

1. Death Note - you cant call yourself an anime fan and not watch this. The suspense will keep you on the edge of your seat till the very last epy.

2. Bleach - I love how the pace of the story is going. Very well put together

Blood Plus - If it wasn't for this show, I'd probably still be stuck on that lame Naruto. Thanks a bunch for showing up on AdultSwim.

3. Elfen Lied - Its a "seinen" anime, so you know what to expect (blood/gore/nudity/ a underaged kid getting his guts obliterated[im serous]). The story is nice too. But its too short, only 14 epys.

4. Samurai Champloo - This was a lot of fun to watch. Mainly because the characters are so likeable. The story could have been better, but the comedy kept me watching.

It's not called having bad taste, it's called having a personal preference. Bleach is more action-packed while death note is more of a thriller. Some prefer the other so not everyone is going to enjoy every type of anime. And I think bleach has just of a good plot as death note IMO.

Samurai Champloo was awesome. The characters are so likeable. The only problem I have is that 1 epy they're doing this, then the next, they're doing that. Makes the flow of the story kind of confusing.

Your taste isn't much better. When I want a good plot, I can watch a movie or read a book. Anime isn't to the point where it has a better plot, it even is rarely good storytelling. I may love Neon Genesis Evangelion but it isn't some super awesome masterpiece of literature. It is just fun entertainment.

Yeah, no character development and hardly any story, but it's incredibly fun watching a gunslinging vampire blast zombies with explosive .454 Casulls and two custom made guns.

Yeah, but there are only 3 Ultimates and one comes out every, what? 3-4 months?
