I saw the second one, Pirates of the Carribean: Dead man's chest last night with Kitmitsu. :P It was really good though i dont know what it is in comparison with the first. It was very different but still very good.

The ending annoyed the hell out of me >_< Good ending but its so annoying xD

A 3rd film is scheduled for release on 23rd May 2007 called Pirates of the Carribean: At worlds end, which you'll get once you see the ending. :p

Apparently there was a trailer for it at the end of the credits but i didnt wait. :nag: I do that everytime.

It was a really good film though. Very differently like you say with alot of violence for a disney film :P

the film was longer than i expected but it was great, but i hate cliffhanger endings like that.

im going to see it again so thanks for the tip of the trailer at the end, but there better be somthing there. i remember when my friend and i waited for the extra ending in x-men 3 and it took 4ever, i hope these cedits arent that long>_<

ok just to let people no, i actually waited after the credits for like 15 damn min , to see if there to see if there was somthing there, and all there was were those cannibles worshiping the stupid dog that had the keys<_<

Yup, he does. However they get...a previous character :P to help them get him back from "The end of the earth", which will happen in the next movie.

yah that clip really explained things like that, but like the clip at the end of the 2nd Pirates of the Carribean it was only like 10 sec. wouldnt be worth seeing unless u have it on dvd or somthing

hey did anybody no there is also somthing a the end of the 1st Pirates of the Carribean, which explains y the monkey is still immortal, i actually nvr thought of look at the end of it until today when finished watching it

I never knew that!

And I've seen that movie..like....a 100 times.

That explains alot.... XD

I'll have to watch it AGAIN now.

And the theme music is always stuck in my head after I watch the movie XD

Not that I mind though. I think it's cool.

The theme music is very well thought out and that is what I like about it. It is catchy and yet it still pertains importantly to the movie itself. Anyways I thought this movie was very well made. If you think about it is the second movie in a trilogy and those are usually the ones that suck! I think they did a good job minus the ending... too random. It seemed like they were stretching for a story.

This'll probably kill you all but I've never ever never seen a single Pirates of the Carribean movie. :ohmy: Yup that's right. I did have friends though that were going to force me to see it when we were performing it at a band concert.
GASP! Well, I've only seen the second one. But I did play it on Kingdom Hearts II! Jack sucked... Power-wise anyway.

I don't remember the monkey part... Hmm... And the heart is just plain freaky. O.O The theme song is kinda catchy. I'll now be evil and post it so that everyone can get it stuck in their head!!! MUAHAHAHA!

Lol. The trumpets are the bad ones. Really can't keep their dang mouths shut. Although us Clarinets do cause some trouble. Of course not I....Our teacher spends half the time yelling at us (*coughTrumpetscough*) to shut up. We're bad too.

Sounds soooo much like our strings teacher. Actually, only four people in the class ever talk out of turn, but our strings teacher spends most her time yelling at them. She never bothers to do anything about it besides making empty threats.

We watched both the first and second one in class as a "relief" from the end-of-the-year exams ^^

Seen the third movie advertised when I seen Spiderman 3 on Saturday. It looks brilliant and I soooooooooo cant wait for it and the 3 day pirate party following it! Im a massive fan of the movies and I adore Johnny Depp in them!

Johnny Depp is God. I remember, my boyfriend and I were walking into the theatre to see Spiderman 3 and we saw a huge poster of Johnny for At World's End. I said, "I hope you're that sexy when you're 40." =D

Well....IGN and Yahoo critics have both rated Spiderman 3 higher than Pirates 3. The combined grades are pretty low for these "blockbuster" films.....What the hell do people wanna see these days!? I think alot of people get more caught up in criticizing than just sitting down and enjoying the damn film. Its gonna be interesting to see which film grosses more. I hope you bought your tickets in advance!

Check IMDB reviews...when i last checked POTC reviews were positive when S3 were bad.

Thats good for IMDB....I was just noting IGN and Yahoo.....( 3.5/5 stars on IGN and C+ on yahoo )...I didn't want to start a crying fanboy war...so forget it lol. I'll probably go see it tonight if I get a chance.....I'm more hyped about Liddell Vs Jackson UFC 71 this weekend!!!!

Ya. I got a friend who saw like the first hour of the film at midnight. He couldn't stay for the whole thing because he was getting sleepy and he had to go to work early that morning. From what I've heard from him, it was really good for the first hour. So....thats at least one opinion :blink:. Yahoo had the running time at 2 hours and 45 minutes. I'm looking forward to it.

I heard about the 3 or 4 more spidey films. Being a big Spidey fan, I'm excited about there being more films. Any news on the future of Pirates? I heard that Johnny Depp said he would love to continue the films. I've also been hearing that one of the directors saying this was it. I'll find the link on IGN. Another director quoted him saying that he said "If I have to make another film about water, I think I'm going to be sick". Hopefully Pirates continues.....

The first POTC movie is the best because everything Jack Sparrow does is new. The second one isn't that good as Jack Sparrow just felt old and over-used. Thankfully Barbossa is back in POTC 3 and he rocks.

I agree. my favorite part of the second movie was when Captain Barbossa appeared. Well Davy Jones is cool too. Ehh I'll see what it's like in.....exactly one hour!!!!!:dance:

Davy Jones and Captain Barbossa are awesome! They're two of my favorite characters. and they're great in the movie too. :P

And I just got back not too long ago. It's really woth while to see the movie. Just be prepared to sit for about 3 hours in the theater. There were some parts, however, that just go way over the top and so you're like WTF??? But besides that fact it's really good. ;)

Well, over the top as in they took it too far and parts that are just 'weird'.

And the ending was the best out of the whole movie. It had great ship fighting scenes. That's all I will say so I won't ruin it. ;)

The ending battle scene was really awesome. I don't know if its the best one in the series. There were alot of weird scenes that weren't even funny. Alot of randomness in other words. All in all....I enjoyed the film. B+....I was disappointed in certain parts I won't say because it will spoil the film. If you wanna know what, message me and I'll let you know. I would say that this movie is definitely worth going to see.

Johnny Depp and some of the producers hinted that they may be making another film. But you'll also see at the very end of the film that it is open for another.
