Mmorpg?

Well we have about 3 more games left to be officially announced from Square for the FNC compilation and I'm hoping one of them is an MMORPG. Square said some time ago when rumors of a sequel to FFXI were going around that a new MMORPG from Square would be a completely new game. I really like MMO's though I've never really stuck with one long enough.

How many of you guys would like one?

1. FFXI is boring in my opinion, if they make another one. Ihope they make the enemies epic like in the actual FF games (fighting worms which get bigger as u level = boring)

2. An mmo on PS3 would be awesome.

So agreed, make another MMO pls square.

I would doubt they have the people to hold up another big MMO without outsourcing. Since half of the square side of the company works on XI.

They only need to have a graphical update of XI and create a new world so people would have to level up again. So many high levels now that they don't want to level lower jobs. I know Tanaka wouldn't use Vana'diel because the world is constant and a the Fabula group of games are static(so the universe wouldn't make sense).

I could see it happenning though.

Oh and Ozonez, I stopped fighting worms at level 22 kind of went like this worms to lvl 4 then worms again at 15-22 if you do korroloka tunnel and qufim, if not then no worms. Unless you are Ranger/Black Mage soloing there is no reason to continue. Epic battles are in the game, NM's, HNM's, Missions, Quests. Every exp party fight is epic compared to what you exp off of in normal FF games in general.

well they are making an MMORPG but i doubt its one of the FNC games...

ive heard of this MMO on PC and 360 (possibly PS3 also but not mentioned) it may be Dissidia? ..anyway we will know sooner or later

I want an mmo on ps3. Its lezz hazzel with it then. And I can chill in my living room.

If they are going to create 6 FNC games it would be a shame not to have a dedicated online one.

I've never played FF11, so I cant state my opinion on it. But from what I've heard it seems pretty lame. If thats the case, Square shouldnt make it.

I rather 360 not get another MMO. So far you have to run FFXI off the disc which causes you to be slower then everyone else. This is due to Square not forcing you through Xboxlive since you don't need to connect to microsoft to play on the Playonline servers.

I've never played FF11, so I cant state my opinion on it. But from what I've heard it seems pretty lame. If thats the case, Square shouldnt make it.But it does everything the other FF's tried and failed but only right.

I am not trying to get you to like the game(i don't wish it on anyone) but it does right so many things that the other games in the series tried to do but didn't.

I liked FFXI, just took a REALLY long time to level up and stuff is really expensive, especially for a ninja.

Sweet, I liked FFXI. Sequel should be pretty good. Now, if only in the sequel they fixed some of the classes and stuff........

You know, when I first heard of Fabula Nova Crystallis possibly having more than 3 games in it, and the registering of FFHaeresisXIII, the first thing I thought was "there's SE new MMO".

And I do hope it happens. A modern/futuristic setting MMO would deliver! Also, I played FFXI, the game has a great storyline, showing SE can blend it to a MMO without turning out crap. They have also learned a lot from this first experience so... I will give it a try for sure when/if it comes as part of FNC.

Oh yeah and about the team working on FFXI. It's not that many people anymore, since all they have to do is tweak around and add some extra content here and there, the core of the game is well-estabilished.
