KH2 theme song

I liked the Japanese KH2 theme music, the music on the intro but the English one is so baddddd. The lyrics are pretty poor in my opinion. E.g. "Angels of light" didnt fit with the tune and sounded stupid to me. :nag: :nag:

That's Angels in flight to you. But alas as much as it pains me to say it... I find myself listening to Passion a lot more. I mean I like both songs and everything. I think a large factor in this was because I heard Passion first. But who knows. I love Utada Hikaru regardless.

I'd agree, i think Passion is better but only because i heard it first really. There isnt much difference though. I prefered the japanese Hikari to the english Simple and Clean though once again they were both pretty good ^_^

See I like both Simple and Clean and Hikari, but, I like Simple and Clean better. Now the reason for this, I think, is because I heard it first. So my theory proves correct again.

i've always liked the japanese versions better but Simple and Clean wasnt as bad Sanctuary, like some of u people all ready said its probably because i heard Passion frist and i got really used to the song that when i heard it in english it just sounded bad...

I didn't really like passion or sancturay(sp). when i was listenning to both of them she didn't sound like she was singing more like talking.

The lyrics in Simple and Clean had significance to both KH and the Japanese version Hikari. I thought the lyrics were good and well thought while were on the subject of Utada has anyone purchased the new album Ultra Blue I just got it in yesterday and I can't stop listening to it. If you have'nt I suggest you do.

^i agree with u "simple and clean" and "hikari" lyrics may sound werid if u say one line but if u see the whole song u can see it relates to kh

also i dont have the Ultra Blue album but im going to barrow it from a friend and rip all the songs to my comp

I know there are a bunch of stores scattered in big cites like L.A. and New York that sells Japanese albums and such, but I don't live anywhere near those places. So I just went with E-bay. My mom's a fanatic so she was happy to do it.

Off topic: I finally sat down and watched the music video of "keep tryin" my friend sent me several months ago. All I can say was that song made me think of killing myself....Now i like her old video's like "Sakura(i think)" and "wait and see" but keep tryin sucked as a song and a video. I mean you really can't do both unless it's a bad song with a live concert video or something similiar.

That music video was fun, and I love the song. Do you really hate it that much? The first time I heard it I couldn't stop singing it, even though I didn't know the words yet. And then I went to school and let my friends listen to it, which, most of them hate my japanese music. Mostly because i'm always asking them to listen to it. But they heard just a minute of the song and most of them loved it.

Besides most of her pv's aren't really like that, but it doesn't change the fact that I loved it. It was new and different for her and that's why I think I liked it so much.

its very weird how a jappanese vertion of a song can sound better than an american. if some one were to take an american song and sing it exacactly the same in japanese witch would be better?
