I sat for roughly 3 hours watching this last night, and my ass litterally went numb.
But the special effects where astounding, there was so much it was scary, specialy on a what? 200inch screen. :blink:
The story was preety good, sandman, venom...thing.
Aha, The ending was a alrite, but the story so could have been better, and Peter dancing like a moron down the street. I think not.
And i hope he cuts his little freakin emo hair. ;)

watched it. Its alright, the graphics and effects are much better then 1 and 2. The storyline is alright but does include some "what the fuck is the point in this?" moments.

If you liked the last 2 then go see it. I will.

Most of the people who are 100% GRRRR about this movie are spiderman fans who think the entry of Venom was bullshit.

Unfortunetly it is 100% sure to me now that POTC 3 will kick this films arse.

Well, hoenstly I have no idea who Carnage is because I don't really know anything about Spiderman.

And 300 was a strange movie. I couldn't keep up with it and gave up watching it through the first 5 minutes of the movie.

They are making another Spidey film. Lizard and Venom will probably be the villains in the 4th film. Sam Raimi said wayyyyyyyy back that he wanted to make 6 films. Carnage should be saved for last. I think Carnage is the ultimate bad ass. He would be a good villain to close the series out with. There are still a plethora of villains for Spidey fans though. Kraven, Mysterio, Lizard, Scorpion, Shocker, Chameleon, Morbius, and etc.

Carnage is a total failure. Some skinny wannabe serial killer. Venom's fault in the movie was he was too small and didn't have a longer fight scene. Really venom deserves a battle across the whole city to show his destructive nature not some construction site.

Thats not official yet. They want to make a 4th film but the actors aren't contracted to be in it meaning if any of the main stars leave then

A. The fans will outcry, changing an actor halfway thru a trilogy is just gonna make the movie fail. Fail badly.
B. Force some of the other actors not to do it.

For example Kirsten Dunst said she would join to make a 4th film if Tobey and the director returned aswell, otherwise she wouldn't be interested.

The fact that POTC has both Johnny Depp (who has a bigger fanbase then Tobey by himself) and Orlando bloom are in POTC will mean it will rake in far more then S3. its amazing that the writer is the same for S3 and S2. Of course Pirates of the caribbean 3 is going to beat this film hands down. After all the money it made last summer you can expect this one to go down in history.

Calm the fuck down. Like i said, i was only joking. It is pretty common sense to use the edit button, unless u don't know how to use it. In which case, i was doing u a favour. For your information, i don't enjoy POTC as Captain Jack is just repetitive now. Spiderman is much better, its just the fan following for POTC is much bigger then Spiderman. Anyway, for the rest. I saw this movie today in the cinema. If you REALLY love spiderman, go see it. If not, watch it on the internet or something. Its not good, me and my friends spent most of the film just laughing. my friend who hadn't seen the film already (like me) also predicted the storyline at the end.

Its just S1 and S2 together with more villains.

It was so-so. Toby Maguire going emo was bizzare, Bruce Campbell with a french accent was rofl and Maguire shaking his arse and hips at me on a giant screen is pure torture!! I liked Venom though, yet the love triangle with Pete, Harry and MJ annoyed me once again. God I hate MJ, always have done and always will.

But it was the worst film I could have seen with my guy when we were discussing our relationship not 50 minutes before the film. I was trying my best to fight back the tears and not get upset by those Pete and MJ cause I kept thinking bout me and my guy. Im a hopeless romantic ...

Well I work at the Odeon Cinema in my town.. and people's reactions to the film have been very mixed. So much so that people have stopped actually coming to watch it. This never happened with spiderman 2 as it was in the cinema up until its dvd release because it was so popular. However, I myself liked the spiderman film, and having worked through the business of the Spiderman 3 film, it was obvious that people really wanted to see this film, but some came out disapointed.

As for spiderman 4, it is scheduled for release in Winter 2009. As is Sin City 3. Sin City 2 Out 2008.

As for Pirates 3... I am dreading this film coming out, but at the same time I cannot wait. ( Major Pirates fan, but hate the screaming kids that come with it haha) The trailer for POTC 3 is astounding, and the hype it is receiving from cinema goers is also astounding. The opening weekend is already sold out on pre bookings, and people are asking can they have the numerous posters we have around the cinema. Nobody asked for the spiderman posters, and the film got nowhere near as much hype as Pirates. I can easily say without a doubt in my mind Pirates will break the box office record for highest grossing film of all time. Currently held by Titanic by earning the US a major $1,845,034,188. Pirates 2 earnt $1,065,659,812 for the US.... and almost everybody went to watch that film, and some came out with mixed feelings about it causing it to die down after a few weeks.. whereas Titanic... everyone loved.. and therefore everyone went to watch it again and again.

So.. to summarise... Spiderman 4.... Winter 2009, Pirates 3 - highest grossing film of all time ( DEFO ) and yeah spiderman 3 was great at best, average at worst.

It was a descent movie. The acting was much better than before, and much much much better than in Seabiscuit. Anyone else notice how Tobey McGuire's build changes regualrily thoughout the movie? I mean, during one scene where he's sitting on his bed contemplating, he has a DOUBLE CHIN and he wasn't even bending his neck down. In other scenes, he's much skinnier.

The action scenes were ok, despite the fact that spiderman lost no blood at all despite being stabbed in the abdomen and slashed multiple times. All you see are scars that are already scabbed over.
