I've been a fan of Sylvester Stallone and his films since I was a kid. Some of them were complete horse manure though, and I'm surprised he still has a job making films. I never thought I'd ever see a sixth Rocky movie, but I have and I was left in awe.

And I'm here to tell you that it IS worth seeing. Do not knock it til you've tried it. ^_^

Rocky comes out of retirement to face Mason Dixon in a non-title battle of pride and skill. Some Rocky regulars resurface including Duke and Paulie, and Rocky's son, although Sage Stallone did not sign on to reprise the role.

Despite what many critics say, Stallone is a brilliant actor, author, director and boxing enthusiast. It was a 1975 fight that inspired Stallone to pen Rocky in the first place, and he ultimately won the part.

Even if you do not like boxing, fighting or wrestling, the Rocky movies are always excellent movies. I was almost in tears while watching Rocky III and IV because of the loss of two people who had a major impact on Rocky's life and career. :)

Rambo on the other hand is more violent and focuses more on war than character development. However Rambo is not Stallone's creation.

I thought the movie was alright. But i wasn't expecting much going in (friend loves wasting money to see movies). So I liked it, not enough to purchase but they have my money at the box office.
