This is the Metal gear Solid FC. It was made for MGS fans in the forums. The rules are:

-Flaming - Just do not do it. Will get a warning first time, then you are gone if the problem persists.

-Spamming - A little bit of Spamming is cool with me, just know when to stop or you will receive a warning and as before, if the problem persists you will be gone.

-Post a Lot - Be active within the group itself.

In the FC, I would like to hear theories on the Storyline of MGS4. Of course members can also just do Fan Art, MGS themed Sigs and Avatars, and other stuff like that.

Hmmm, I am going to go with the first one. What do you think they are going to do with the Metal Gears? considering the fact that there are now Metal Geko Gears roaming the streets, will a Metal Gear Still be the last Boss? Or will they make up something new?:blink:

Well, about the metal gears: considering the size of the metal gekko gears, i think their use resides in battlefield operations, like modern tanks mixed with artificial inteligence, what isn't what metal gears are designed for. So i think we'll have a "real" metal gear in the game, something to immitate the last battle in MGS1, with snake being helped by raiden (The ninja, not as good as grey fox, but still a ninja). Also it will be Snakes life battle, his last mission, so a true metal gear makes sense.
But it can never happen, we are talking about kojimas ideas after all. But i trust him :)

I think MGS3 is the best overall game in the series - it has the best storyline and the last 2 or 3 hours or so were absolutely incredible, it was the closest I've ever seen a game get to recreating the spectacle and excitement of a really great Hollywood action movie.

No idea. I played it, and it was fine. There's barely any blood. The only part where there was a lot of it was when EVA got stabbed in the abdomen.

There's a bit of sexual themes (EVA) but that's T at most.

well anyway MGS3 is my favourite game of all time, the story is great, the graphics were some of the best on the PS2, the music was great(Debriefing FTW), sneaking and CQC were alot of fun and Big Boss is a friggin badass and I love the whole movie atmosphere

the only thing most people dislike about it was the lack of story depth compared to MGS1 and MGS2 but if depth was really that important then I would be playing Suikoden instead of FF

Depends, if you want to search every nook and crany, then a good while, if not, then like 15 hours.............depends on how good you are, and on all the games, there is always a reason to play it again.

It takes about 5 and a half hours to complete MGS3. A bit longer for the others. Of course that time's after about a dozen playthroughs. First time took 24 hours.:P

I just "got" Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons of Liberty. The camera view is a little odd, but it's okay. I'm at the part where you have to get to the control deck of the tanker. Specifically right where you encounter the second set of lasers. I got blown up twice by that, once not knowing where it was, and once when I was trying on the box and ran right into the lasers.

I don't think anyone really knows except for Kojima. They never really explained it, did they? They just ended the game with Otacon telling Snake that all the Patriots died 100 years ago.

The fact that unlike most shooters, it makes you THINK(OH NOEZ) about how you shoud go about doing things, rather than just going in and blasting everyone in the face.

Also, the storyline is kickass. And the variety of moves and stuff you can do. I mean, show me another game where you can use C4 coolant to kill cockroaches or kill enemies by shooting the ropes that support the bridge they're standing on.

The only bad thing was the unrealistic pre-confrontation enemy AI, which was pretty much fixed (for the most part) in MGS 3. I mean, a half blind man could see Raiden from 10 meters away but an elite guard cannot?

I want that game soooo bad. I mean, the graphics are so lifelike, and so many options. You can even change camo on the spot... And the world is HUGE! The sniper rifle finally gets some actual use. And SNAKE can actually read the pornos now, to cure nauseaXD. The barrel attack is sweet too. God I must have this game.

It seems the club has new members... ive been out for some months due to lack of time, but i'll be posting again.
Raiden isnt falling apart in the way snake is. Raiden has lost several parts of his body, maybe he fought Goku from DB or the like hehehehehe. Snake is suffering from accelerated aging cause of the cloning process, nothing like raiden. To know Snake's age you just need to look at the end of MGS3 and see the data of the "les efant terrible" project, which gave birth to solid and liquid and consider that MGS4 happens some years in the future (i'm not sure how many years).
