- Description:

This is the fanclub for the game and new franchise "Assassin's Creed." For anyone who doesn't know Assassin's Creed is a new game being produced by Ubisoft using the Scimitar Engine. The game will be a part of a trilogy which will vary over time. Assassin's Creed will also be novelised into books by Pocket Books. Neither the game nor the book are actually out yet but anyone who is looking forward to this game should join this club as i will be posting news/updates about the game/book here and discussion from members would be helpful. The game is rumored to have the most complex story created so far as a game.

Assassins Creed rocks....the thing I want to find out is if the story really will be more complicated than MGS...

Good point, i don't remember much of the MGS story as i haven't played those games in ages. Well the game is taken from an actual true historical group, the Hashshashin's. Dan Brown's book "Angels and Demons" loosly has a connection to the Hashshashin's and thats a fucking complicated book.

The ending cut scene in MGS2 was over an hour long....Wonder if Assassins Creed will beat that..

I heard this used to be PS3 exclusive but became multi-platform. That really sucks.

Yeah, stupid M$, they're just so scared of the PS3 they're pissing their pants so they buy up a lot of exclusives such as DMC4 just to be safe (or just rather whimpy). Luckily, there is still tons of cool titles that will for sure stay exclusive. but well, assassination, wall climbing, genetic memories, this could turn out to something cool!

Yeah, the fighting looks awesome and hopefully it will be really realistic unlike other games where you get stabbed and slashed 50 times and are still going strong.>_<

Yeah, Jade Raymond keeps saying how "you cant take 50 blows to the head -- you cant even take 1". You're meant to do those fancy blocks to defend. Its apparently easy to defend so the games no too hard.

I LOVE the block spin attack thing he does to that guard on the roof when he hits under his arm then spins around. Sooo coooolll :cunning:

Yeah, reminds me of POP, but then again it was made by the same company...They are supposed to be having a playable demo version at this years E3 in july.

The realism of the game is big. As in real life, if your "ZOMG STRONG" and your kicking arse, getting hit back affects you. In AC if you get hit with a sword, u die or suffer extreme injuries. I doubt you will have a miracle cure for it as well. Its a true survival game.

They are making some books on it dunno about a movie. Release Date is November 2nd btw for the game.

I wonder if this game will be longer or shorter than POP. 'Cause as soon as you figured out the levels in POP you could beat the game in like 5 hours or less.

I read that its being released on the 9th or 19th of November, but then i also read somewhere that its being released for all formats expected, but then Rekhyt told me only the console are coming first, then PC some time after. Any one know the real (or atleast announced) release dates for each?

I have no idea.

Is this going to be rated M or T? I think that they say it managed to get a T rating, dunno how, and why they tried to get a T rating.

You would think that with a name like Assassins Creed, they would try and go for a more violent game, or maybe they are doing it like POP, and it will start off less violent?:|

No a company like Ubisoft will get the game out to all platforms that they are making it for straight away to increase profit. The PS3 version is the only proper version of the game, the 360 and PC are ports.

But they always seem to be demoing the 360 version =/ The very first time a demo was shown it was running on the 360 as well.
