Since we have threads discussing the hero, heroine, plot, etc. Wouldn't it make sense to make a topic like this? I thought so.

I'm not good at these things. You guys talk about it.

Ok, then the antagonist (perhaps) is from another country and has a similar storie like Storm's one and he also wants the crystal...
I also can add that he could be the totally opposite of Storm:nod:

I am the antagonist. The dark clothed ones are preventing the possibility of peace!

Actually he either has to have shit tons of charisma or be a evil bastard that even I can hate. When this thread gets more replies I come up with something.

The antagonist is most likely connected with the men in armor.

Maybe, but the Versus Guy would have many enemies, all strong in their own strengths

The antagonist must be really strong to stand out of all enemies

True as well. So the question is: Is the robed man/woman with the armored guys or not?

If we are going to go with the whole religious cult thing, then the guys in armor are not paid and totally loyal to the guy in the robe, who is obviously the leader of the grunts.

So if he is the leader of the grunts, who is in charge of him?

It kinda makes you think back to the crusades of the catholic church.

It kinda does.

Who knows...Maybe the antagonist is more than one person...like entire countries. Most likely those who covet the Crystal and are not associated with the heronie or whatever will be antagonists.

Possibly.

Alright, time for my opinion.

I just want the antagaonist to be evil. Evil-like such as Sephiroth, Kefka, and Kuja.

I don't want him to be some dictator like Vayne or a wimp like Shuyin.

Sephiroth and Kuja shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as Kefka. Kefka is like a pure breed. That much more evil.

Who is Kuja? And Kefka?

Kefka was the villian from FF 6 and Kuja from FF 9 (if I'm right XD)

maybe...if other countries were in distress and loss of power, and they joined forces and decided to attack versus's kingdom.

That would make sense, man that must suck to have no allies for Storm.

Let the villian be someone that wants religious freedom or equality! At least that's how all my bad guys are. To be evil it isn't what they want that has to be wrong, it's the way they go about it. Just makes them more evil.

Something I said in a older thread when we were discussing ideas.

He would have allies, though it would be cool if you can go solo throughout the whole game

That would go with the quote, "There is nothing good or evil, thinking makes it so."

No it would go with 'The imaginary line between good and evil is the way you go about your goals'. Getting money legit (working hard, lottery?) is good, getting money illegally (murder, kickbacks) fall into evil.
