Wouldn't it be nice? It would be awesome to watch the news everyday without some communist ranting about how superior his country is and Democrats criticizing the president everyday.

But I've finally realized it. As long as there is a mentally-challenged Middle Eastern out there, war will continue forever. DX

There can never be world peace. The west might get rid of all threats of insurgency, and solve all of their problems, but they might think that helping other countries will comprimise their own peace.

Also, Kira, i don't think what you think is right. The Middle East might have some strange characters, and Communism might be very self-expressing, however Western democracy isnt all its worked up to be. Its because of western democracy that insurgency has risen in the last years.

There are too many people in the world for world peace. At least one out of five people would disagree to something. Rebellion, strikes, and wars show people's separate opinions.

Mentally challenged Middle East? Why would the Middle East be mentally challenged? Because they run under a government system that contradicts ours? In that sense, the U.S. is mentally challenged, too.

The U.S.' government is not perfect. Same applies for Canada and a bunch of other countries. All may claim to be a true democracy, but no true democracy exists. It can't work out, just like how communisms can't really either.

But that's besides the point. Ringlets is right that our governments are not all what they are worked out to be.

I also agree with Fearless in that there are too many people. Too many people make too many disagreements. Conflict will just always happen.

I think that world peace will never happen, the U.S. thinks that we are the superior country and wants to have a nice trump card to use, the middle east has civil wars sprouting up uncontrollably like weeds.......Nope, world peace will never see the light of day on Earth, or not now anyway.

People who fight sometimes don't care what or who they're hurting and destroying. Like they would happily kill the citizens of the opposing country to make them suffer...

without the drive to expand there is no progression ..to expand there must be war...also it is the people that stress tolerance on everyone ..we will never get along ;if we are stressed to tolerate each other it will not banish the problem and difference of opinion it will only store our anger up until we break and do something rash.
