FFXIII to be playable next E3?

As expected, we're going to have to wait a bit to control FFXIII. Toriyama revealed to Dengeki that his team is working on making a playable build of FFXIII in time for next year's E3. Presumably, this means that the Tokyo Game Show and the December Jump Festa, both typically strong shows for Square Enix, won't offer hands-on time.

If thats true id love to go to E3 :D

I read that the game was 80% complete according to IGN. Doesnt seem like thats really the case if a playable demo is only available next E3.

I hope it will be playable and that Square arent getting ahead of themselves. They released the actual XII demo ages ago even though XII isnt gonna be released until October. Guess they just want to remind people it exists :P which kinda made it crappy :/

I always thought that the scenario was 80% complete which could mean anything. I don't think that the actual game is 80% complete, just the story. Anyways if there is a playable demo at E3 I would probably pee my pants. Even though I couldn't go!

even if i can't get to E3, as long as they have some decent journalists there to play the games and report back I don't care:D
I'd rather play the game from beginning to end than just alittle bit of the middle of it

E3 said that this year would be the last "BIG" E3. Now it will be much smaller. So I cant say for shure if SE will use it to show a demo of FFXIII

I'd completely forgotten about that. But I'm pretty sure if they don't show anything at the next E3 we'll only have to wait until the european game show's start because I'm pretty sure that most, if not all of them are going to stay around the same size
