FF blows away KH. The only reason why KH is so popular is cause of the FF characters in it. Its entertaining and all that, but I dont consider it a blockbuster game.

I just said that Kingdom Hearts succeded because Square made it and everbody knows that Square made FF games so it was meant to succed..and I never said that Unlimited SAGA was better than Ocarina Of Time because I don't know what you're talking about and I've never played any Zelda game:nod:

And the worst thing is that it worked, didn't it? They used the FF connection to help hype the game in the beginning, despite the fact that the FF characters have no real impact or relevance to the overall storyline.

Personally, I don't want to see any FF characters in the next KH game, the series is strong enough on it's own now to not need a boost from the association with another successful series.

If Squall hadn't been there who would have told Sora the big key he was carrying was a keyblade.
And in KH2 Radiant Garden and the FF characters are important in the plot too.

If there are no FF characters in the next KH then I think this game is going to lose its fans or at least the people that play it, personally I never knew they were going to appear and I was shocked when it happened but it made me enjoy the game more:nod:

Thats my main flaw with the KH series. It has great gameplay, but the plot is nothing like FF game. it has potentiol to be engaging, but Square doesnt give that "extra."

The core storyline is okay, I mean it's just typical good-versus-evil stuff, but yeah, I'd take any FF storyline over KH anyday.

KH2's storyline was too messy and lacking in any kind of focus, and it seemed like such a pointless waste to spend all that time at the start setting up Roxas as a character and then to just write him out and only feature him again in a couple of small scenes at the end of the game.

To be honest I preferred the storyline in KH:Chain of Memories to the KH2 story, it was more interesting, mysterious and coherent.

Chain of Memories had the best story because it was mysterious and it made you want to keep playing to find out what happened next. The KH2 story was decent, but it seamed like all the worlds that they visited were just "passing by" and when bad guys came, they beat them, and then did the same thing in the next world.

Yeah, Chain of Memories was actually a really cool game, and it was where a lot of the major characters from KH2 made their first appearances like Diz, Axel, Namine, and even Roxas. The battle system also had a lot more strategy than KH2's as well.
