I've posted a prelude in the other thread 'Roleplay'. Besides mentioning some vague names and themes, the prelude doesn't really hint at any story. If more people are interested in joining, I'll post up more of the idea later.

I completely agree!

Things like 'he sensed the murderous presence of the nearby assassin, and so was able to negate the assassin's sneaking abilities' (written horribly on purpose) annoy me. To circumscribe that, I've actually written a list of roleplaying conduct rules. Hopefully that will allow players to not only make more effort in conveying their thoughts, but also prevent players from mumbo jumboing their way through.

The problem is that Yuri's roleplay is a big one, to do a big one you need a large group of RPers. To get RPers you need lots of small ones...

If you had small ones more RPers will join and then they will probably want to make a char for the big one too.
