Can an admin tell how it works? Correct me if I'm wrong, but were doing the same warning system as AdventChildren.net right?
Which means, that if someone reaches a certain amount, they'll get banned for a certain number of days.
Can a breakdown of it be given?
I'm only making this topic cause Dante warned the wrong guy xp

Thanks, Kira. xP
Its kinda like the ACF one, yeah. You get 3 infractions of any kind before and you get banned for 10 days. Infractions expire so if you have two, get another but the first one expired a day before you wont be banned if you get what I mean.
10 points and you get a ban. Things like spam are 2 points, and other things like posting pr0nz are 10 points. ;P but if you get 3 spam warnings in one day you're also banned, but only for 10 days. If you get 15 points however you're perma-banned. :cunning: One of us will write up an official thing explaining it better in the rules section sometime soon.
Sorry for warning you. I assure you, it was meant for Cloud Rulez.

I think it's a different warning system to AdventChildren.net, or at least the one I remember. It's a sort of new inbuilt feature for vBulletin and it's better than our previous system. We're still messing around with it at the moment which is why we haven't said anything about it yet but we'll put something official up soon. Dante made it pretty clear but here's a quick break down of it.
Spamming - 2 point warning, expires in two weeks
Flaming/Abuse - 5 point warning, expires in two weeks
Posting Pornography - 10 point warning, expires in a month (unless it's used to troll)
Spammed Advertisements - 15 point warning, never expires
Hacking (accounts or forums) - 15 point warning, never expires
Duplicate Forums - 15 point warning, never expires
Get 10 points and you get suspended for 10 days. You also get suspended if you get 3 infractions and it lasts until one of those infractions expires.
Get 15 points and you're permanently banned. Get up to 5 infractions without any expiring and you also get permanently banned.
That's all of it really :P Hopefully it won't have to be used much but it's good to have it there just in case.

WOW:ohmy: it's going to be tough:nod: I'm going to start taking care of myself from now one:rolleyes:
I'm going to respect this I' don't want to be banned:'(
Oh yeah with permanently banned did you mean that if someone gets permanentely banned this person can't post anymore:huh:?

Nah it isn't gonna be tough :P. It's just to stop completely useless posts which can get annoying. The majority of people here are good posters anyway so it's mostly for the future.

As long as this place doesn't become an AdventChildren.net, then I'm cool.

Don't worry, this place won't become like ACF. You'll be able to post here without having to think "is that enough?". They have stupidly high standards in place nowadays and the mods are far to strict. With the new infraction system, it's easy to follow what mods are doing so we can keep an eye on them. Should be useful when we hire some staff.

Just because in a thread I only answered "He's definetely tougher in KH then in KH2" and they say that's SPAM <_<It is. At least I would count it as such. Nothing being said actually brought up a agrument just agreed with anothers post and didn't even give reasoning.
Posting Pornography - 10 point warning, expires in a month (unless it's used to troll)
That is just unfair. We should wave that rule for Desi.

Like we could get rid of you Desi . Posts should always be about a sentence to actually contribute to the discussion but I won't get pissy about it. And since when was our forum staff big? XD It's just me and Dante really at the moment.
