Allegiance: Freedom Power Rebels

Physical Characteristics: Is 6ft tall/well toned but more wirey than body builder/light weight/white/short, very brown (almost black) hair/wears generally lightweight army gear ie dark khaki combat vest.
Soul Siphon/Primary Weapon: Customised rifle with multiple fire styles (rapid fire; more likly to hit but does less damage, sniper fire; will do sever damage but needs time to aim, shotgun shell; can hit multiple enemies with slightly less damage). Can uses the Soul Siphon to focus his shots, add damage to them at the expense of accuracy (by adding energy) along with boosting his speed and reflexes.
Secondary Weapons: Simple combat knife. For emergancy defence or stealthy kills. That's about it.
Area of Special Ability: Ranger, can nail the enemy with multiple rounds while avoiding hits, has some general criminal skill i.e. lock picking, stealth etc. Very quick and can easily dodge almost any attack however he lacks any serious form of defence and so if he is by some chance hit he will be badly hurt.
Personality: Uncaring son of a bitch. Will only help someone else if he can see a way it will benefit him. Not necessarily evil it's just that he lacks compassion and empathy. Neither happy nor angry or depressed. Perfectly neutral. Well almost.
Background: Was orphaned at the age of 15 and left to fend for himself on the backstreets of Neguro. When he was forced to join the army a year later to ensure he had the basic necessities of life. After extensive and soul crushing drilling he was sent to fight rebels within the coutry, along with soldier's from the others. After several particularly successful tours he returned back to home. He expected to be rewarded in some way. However when the wars ended with the World Peace he, among many of his comrades, were let go in favour of cheaper, younger recruits.
Years later, after living in poverty and only surviving by picking up odd jobs (along with the occasional pocket) his hatred for the World Peace and his desire to use his skills in combat strengthen. When he comes into contact with the rebels he sees an opurtunity to fight, make some money (looting and robbing) along with get some revenge on the Government that betrayed the soldiers who fought to get it where it is today.
If it needs changing in any way just ask. I'm not a hundred percent sure how this is gonna go.

Name: Soren Vaughn
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Physical Characteristics: 5'9", 150 lb, pale skin, short brown hair, green eyes. Lean and agile, Soren wears the traditional blue and gold colors of the Vermilian elite. Over the plain white dress shirt, the suit-like atire is armorless, but still slightly protective with the knee-length leather jacket. The edges are fitted with yellow-gold thread, while the collar area is adorned with a variety of vine-like patterns. His earthy shin length boots, waxed to a speckless shine, are secured by a length of thick leather belts.
Soul Siphon/Primary Weapon: 1) Calligrapher's Brush, aptly named Silas after the pine wood that it's created of. The shaft, flexible but durable, is about a foot long; the end is finished with a long, horse hair brush. 2) Calligrapher's Ink. Thick, almost paint-like ink is protected by several thick glass bottles. The jet black fluid is composed of a black pigment mixed with Soren's own blood; a thickening chemical is added to the mixture, lenghening the life of the fluid while ensuring its consistency.
Secondary Weapons: Summon Cards, a deck of paper sheets embroidered with the Calligrapher's Ink. Different words composed with Chinese characters are elegantly noted on the pieces of paper.
Area of Special Ability: Practically defenseless against close range attacks, Soren is suited for long range, short lasting, and self-protected barrages. By using Silas in conjunction with the Calligrapher's Ink, Soren can manipulate the ink into a variety of different matter/energies - including fire, lightning, and kinetic energy - simply by writing the name of the matter/energy on a surface. The process is strenuous and energy consumptive. Through the use of the Summon Cards, however, less energy is required as the manifestation of matter/energy only requires an activation order.
Personality: Quiet and conservative, Soren comes to the point of almost being arrogant because of his laconic and layed back interaction with other people. In this effect, however, he is also quite naive - which he knows - because of his laziness in trying seemingly unnecessary tasks (in his opinion). Despite that, he is skilled in his own respective areas and the things he is interested in.
Background: Because he came from an isolated aristocratic family, Soren idealizes the adventurous personas he rarely comes across. It is his dream is explore the areas of the Blue Alliance - a notion that often surprises people because of his lazy personality. He is one of the entrants into the Extence Tournament, and a high candidate to succeed to the Vermilian Tournament.

Physical Characteristics: 5'11", 160 lb, dark skin, peppered hair and beard, black eyes. Despite his real height and younger age, Elexander - as he wishes the general population to refer to him as - often stoops, making him appear about six inches shorter and much older. He wears a large forest-green blanket over his shoulders that encompasses his body, only letting his oversized slacks and worn sandals show underneath.
Soul Siphon/Primary Weapon: Unknown, although it has been rumored that he yields a sword...somewhere.

Area of Special Ability: Unknown.
Personality: Rude and often impatient, Elexander is often noted to be a traditionalist and is objective in rules and morals to the root despite his status as the Supreme Overseer of the most technologically advanced country in the world. In contrast to his frail nature, he has a fast wit and is quick to criticize - especially those younger than he is - and pompous in showing that he is always right.
Background: Little is known about his earlier years, save for the fact that he was an advisor to the previous Supreme Overseer.

- Physical Characteristics - 5'8", 187 lbs, Pale Skin, Blue Eyes, slightly lengthy brown hair, Noctu wears a white cloak, not wanting to be seen by the public, underneath the cloak is a customized stealth armor, layered many times over with very thin pieces of leather, so it will fit tightly, this helps to protect him from the cold. The armor is all black with six throwing knives strapped to his chest. On his leg there is one concealed throwing knife in case of emergency. Noctu wears black, leather gloves. Noctu is in his middle years and has many scars from wounds from his profession. He has is missing middle finger on his left hand.
- Soul Siphon - Noctu's main weapon's are throwing knives. This comes as a shock to many people. Their minds are quickly changed after they find out what he can do with them. After Noctu throws the knife he can control its flight through the air. This comes in handy for stealth kills. If the target has thick armor on, he can make the knife spin like a drill bit and bore right through the armor to hit the heart and kiil his target. Noctu can control up to three knives at a time. He does this by creating Anti-Matter on the knife before the throws it, after the knife is in the air, he changes the Anti-Matter into a magnetic field around the knife and being able to control it with the use of his fingers because inserted in the tips of his gloves are small, yet strong magnets. Noctu mainly kills in the shadows, or at dusk or after night falls, for this reason, Noctu called the knife his instructor gave him "Interficio Nocte" which means Death by Night.
- Secondary Weapon - Noctu has a weapon made for his profession, it is a retractable blade in his left arm. Mounted into a leather bracer & glove, it will protrude with the application of pressure of him pressing his index and thumb together. When protruded, it is 12" long. Noctu named the weapon "Obduro Anima" which means Last Breath.
- Area of Special Ability - Noctu is a Assassin. He uses Celerity & Catharsis to its full potential making him swift & agile. He also uses Obfuscation to blend into the shadows. He is adept when is comes to climbing objects & lockpicking & pick-pocketing. Noctu has a certain talent for persuasion as well.
- Areas of Weakness - Being an Assassin, Noctu has almost no defenses against Swords, Axes, Lances, Etc. If caught in any of these situations he will either run until he sees an opportune moment to get instant kill with a stab to the heart, or he will continue to run until caught or gets away.
- Personality - Noctu is cold, isolated from society and driven and is also a smart ass. Noctu does not easily trust people and people hardly trust him. He is always looking for a way to benefit from a situation & he will Not be controlled by authority and is uneasy to control after angered. He is disrespectful towards matters that concern religion & religion itself.
- Background - Noctu was born and raised in Vermilia and was forced to participate in the church & religious activities, thus spawning his hate towards the Auriels, religion, & Vermilia. When Noctu turned 15, he started to train his body, his mind, become aquainted with throwing knives, and try to seperate himself from the rest of society. at the age of 17 he was ready to become an Assassin, to do this, he was a student mentored in the art of death by his master called "Umbra Vinco" He wanted to become a shadow, a wisper in the wind, and this was the way to accomplish his goals.
Over the next 16 years, he accomplished those goals. He had become a excellent Assassin, learned to make good use of Soul siphons as well as Celerity & Catharsis. Noctu has been murdering for hire and personal vendettas fueled by hate & revenge for over 16 years. Those who he murdered included his parents.
At the present time, Noctu is finding peace and tranquility in the shadows.

She always dresses in black, for her it represents all the sadness that is in her heart. Though sometimes she could be seen with other colour of clothes. Also uses gloves.

Personality: Emerald is a very sweet girl and somehow can always calm down people who get out of control. Cares for everyone she meets and tries to find solutions to the problems of the people she meets. A really nice girl that can warm the heart of anyone. Even if her life is filled with sadness..she always sees things in a positive way.
Background: Emerald was born in Berile. Her family was very rich, though she lost her parents when she was 13, she was became a very rich girl but always felt lonely. Strangely before her parents die they made her learn how to fight but she never knew what was it for. At the age of 16 she met Zaphire, a 18 year old boy that became her friend and as the time went by they fell in love, though they didn't know how to tell each other their feeings until one night when she was alone with Zaphire some persons wanted to kill her and Zaphire protect her and died, that's also one of the reasons of her sadness. A year has passed and now she has decided to create a detective agency.

Name: Tigersura (pronounced Tig-air-su-ra in case you’re wondering)
Gender: Male
Age: 29
Physical Characteristics: 5ft 8 inches, 9 stone, medium/large build, Caucasian, black hair, ear length all around, blue eyes, wears black light armour, pistol holsters on either waste side
Soul Siphon/Primary Weapon: Dual wielded high-calibre pistols.
Secondary Weapons: Sabre with soul siphon, allowing him to block bullets or to erupt in blue fire named 'Coldfire'.
Area of Special Ability: Marksman and sword fighting. Can get an easy headshot, however recoil prevents immediate re-aim. He uses celerity to aid in melee combat with his sabre. He turns into a quick, agile, slashing machine, being almost impossible to shoot or strike. Once used however, Tigersura becomes very fatigued, which is why he uses it at the end of combat. He affectionately calls this move Final Strike.
Personality: Cheery and energetic. Sometimes becomes annoying due to his urge to fit in with the higher ups. Sometimes becomes angry, if someone gets angry with him. His anger, however, is short lived due to his lack of decent threats or insults. Usually found in the frontline of battles, showing off his marksmanship, blade skills and agility.
Background: Grew up in Kowbault, and was trained in the use of firearms at an early age. He was taught of the belief of The Ultimate Revelation, however found this to be nothing but a myth. Soon excelled to the top of his military classes, and was shown the ways of soul siphoning shortly before he left his roots to join the Gureino Governments secret-service. However, he was placed into the regular military due to his lack of governmental reasoning. He fought for the Gureino Governments rebel-quelling forces. However, he regretted doing so after discovering the Gureino Government’s true plans of domination of the states. He joined The Freedom Power Rebels to prevent such actions. He however was removed from the FPR due to his old affiliates with the Gureino Governments. After wandering the world aimlessly, staying alive only through aggressive negotiations with shop owners to give him money and shelter, he rejoined the FPR, however lying about his past simply so he can complete his aims. After a few months, his skills showed great promise to the higher ups of the FPR, and he soon became the apprentice of one of the FPR leaders. Now, with the blessings of his mentor, he wanders the globe searching for leads into showing the Gureino Government for what it really is, if it even IS anything.

Physical Characteristics: Height: 5'4 ; Weight: 95 lbs ; Slim and agile. Aeluna has pale, smooth skin, long layered jet black hair with red highlights and hazel eyes that can turn yellow at night to see. Her clothes is made mostly of leather and is black and red and are tight and sleeveless. Aeluna wear a shorts, boots, a cape that hangs to the side on her belt (sorta like Yuna in FFX-2) and a necklace and earrings made of ruby.

Personality: Aeluna is silent and calm even at the most difficult times. She keeps mostly to herself and prefers to go solo and travel by night. Though she isn't very strong, she uses speed and wits to make up for it. She planned her every move ahead of time and chooses her allies wisely for fear that they will go againist her.
Background: Born in the outskirts of Safire, Azuerrl. Her mother died seven days after she was born and thus her father blame his wife's death on her. She has two brothers and a sister, all older than her. When her two brothers and father died in the war, she and her sister lived deep within a forest for a while, but soon the soldiers who happen to cross the area found them and tried to kill them in case that they're spies. Her sister died in the chase and Aeluna went to her cousin's and lived there until she was 13. She wanted revenge and trained with a skilled archer and mage ever since. Once, while out in training, troops from Viridia swept her small town and killed everyone in sight and burned everything down. Aeluna returned to the ruins and after seeing the last bit of her home collapse, she found her purpose.... To stop the war...and kill anyone that gets in her way.

Name: Suzuka Watarirouka a.k.a. "Watari"
Gender: Female
Age: 27
Physical Characteristics: 5'7", 127 lb, lean and slender. Suzuka would be described as that of 'African Asian' descent. Although the continents Asia and Africa no longer exist physically, the characteristics of such persons descendant from those continents stipulate Suzuka's darker skin tone, jet black eyes, and dark brown hair. As a member of the 292nd Elite Guard, she dresses in the uniform grey leather jump suit, customized to her agile abilities.
Soul Siphon/Primary Weapon: A traditional Chinese sword, the Snake Sword is meant more for hacking than for cutting. Its wavy and thick edge allows it the durability of a hammer, while its hand held flexibility allows it the maneuverability of a straight sword. As for its siphoning techniques, it can resonate up to 200 times per seconds, multiplying its cutting power while enabling Suzuka to fire high density lightning bolts.
Secondary Weapons: As a weapons master, Suzuka is capable of using a variety of different weapons, from traditional spears and swords, to modern machine guns. Despite that, her regular arsenal includes:
1) Bullet pellets: a variety of thumb sized metal pellets incasing different elements that react upon being exposed to air. For example, explosive pellets cast a brief but sharp explosion, while toxic bullets expose a puff of green-tinted cyanide gas.
2) Sniper rifle: a high caliber rifle used to effectively target objects/persons far away.
Area of Special Ability: Although she does not have any exotic abilities, Suzuka surpasses many of the most elite soldiers in that she is a master of the basics. With her use of Celerity, she can move so quickly as to cast illusionistic doubles of herself at her previous landing spot.
Personality: Like water, Suzuka is usually calm and careful, capable of moving through even the most tight locked situation. Despite that, she is also capable of erupting into a fiery tide of emotion in which she easily loses self control.
Background: Suzuka was originally from a city in Weine, Amethest, to which she won the regional tournament and was succeeded to The Azurren Tournament and then to the prestigious May Tournament. After working for The Gureino Government as an elite guard, she became distant to many of her friends and family - a consequence not only because of the distance and divide between countries but also because of the necessities of her job. She is now one of the closest of the elite guards to Hans Elexander, the Supreme Overseer of The Gureino Government, but - asides from his personality and appearence - there seems to be something strange about him...

Name: Synee Waan
Gender: Male
Age: 37
Physical Characteristics: 5'11", 155, Medium Build. With silverish yellow hair, soap white skin, blue eyes, and a faint smile, Waan seems - save for a halo and wings - an entity thrown down from heaven to live on Second Earth. Despite the national Vermilian colors of blue and gold, Waan almost aways wears a variant of heavy red, a testament to his position as the Central Monarch of Vermilia and ruler of The Red Alliance.
Soul Siphon/Primary Weapon: Although it has rarely been seen, Waan's weapon is a foldable long bow, capable of hiding in his many layered garments.
Secondary Weapons: None/Unknown.
Area of Special Ability: Because his abilities have not been seen since over a decade ago in The May Tournament, his skills are only a rumor. Supposedly he is capable of manipulating the wind.
Personality: Because he is friendly and cordial at first encounters, Waan hides his abilities to be an adept organizer - as seen by his position.
Background: Originally from Kobalt, Waan was exemplified for his talent as a skilled fighter. Despite that, he failed in exceeding to a position in the Gureino Elite Guard in The May Tournament, and so returned to The Red Unity as a politician. After attaining the status as Central Monarch of Vermilia and ruler of The Red Unity, Waan quickly became known as the 'servant to the peoples', a title earned after he markedly improved Vermilia and Kowbalt from the previous Monarch's rule. Now, although he has retained a trusting relationship with Gureino, he is secretly funding The Freedom Power Rebels because of his belief in their cause.

Physical Characteristics: Height: 5'8; Weight: 120 lbs; Golden blonde, spiky hair; a stud on his left ear; a golden tattoo to signify his rank in society, as his uncle is of a high rank in Amethest. Reneus has blue-green eyes and wears a white low-cut shirt that shows his chest muscles and also a number of ornaments on it. He wears shorts and tennis shoes. Tan skin.
Soul Siphon/Primary Weapon: Long pole

Area of Special Ability: Reneus is a swift and long ranged attacker, equipped with great hearing.
Personality: Outgoing and defiant. He likes to go on all sorts of adventures, the more dangerous it is, the better. Though he is of noble blood, he hangs out and prefers to live as a lowly citizen. On his very own airship, Xeon, he works to avoid his uncle at all costs, because they will make him go home, and see the world.
Background: His uncle is one of the lords in the capital of Amethest. His father died three months before he is even born and his mother returned to her old home in Lao, Viridia and there, she gave birth to him. Living his first 15 years as a normal citizen of Lao, when his mother died and his uncle tried to take him in, he couldn't get use to the noble way of life, so he tends to run away from home.

Age: 17
Physical Characteristics: White, 180 cm tall (roughly 6 feet) Medium length black hair, slightly less than shoulder length. Dresses usually in light armor made of plated synthesized black diamond, the hardest substance on Second Earth. Especially made to allow for rapid movements. Despite being incredibly strong, Rev is by no means a muscle head. In fact, he looks just like any other person with his armor on. Now, if one could convince him to take it off... :rolleyes:
Soul Siphon/Primary Weapon: Dual pistols, customized to be extreemly powerful, but with a large amount of recoil. Normal ammo capacity is 18 rounds per gun. Due to his excellent physical abilites, he can handle the guns perfectly.
Secondary Weapons: Sniper rifle, heavy but powerful for mobile night operations.
Area of Special Ability: Bullets may be manipulated to explode, pierce, or just about anything before being shot. Also, he is able to create more bullets when out of ammo. Does not require much soul since bullets are small and simple to manipulate. Almost nothing else beyond basic abilities. His physical prowress allows him to move quickly, most of the time even more quickly than someone who has boosted his abilites. He makes up for his lack of soul by training his body and mind to be just as good, perhaps even better, than a boosted person. If need be, he can still use his soul to boost his performance even more and completely overwhelm the competition.
Personality: Outwardly cheerful, but instantly becomes serious during battle.
Background: Newly graduated student of the Gureino Junior Military Academy. It was discovered that Rev was born with hardly any soul at all, and so his instructors insisted that he would never suceed as a soldier. In the end, Rev ended up surprising everyone by graduating as GJMA's Premier Soldier, relying on his physical abilities and what little soul he did have. He's planning to take the title at the May Tournament.

Name- Trenna Naysmithe
Gender- Female
Age- 24
Physical Characteristics- Trenna is 5'7" and 117 lbs. She has pale flesh, raven black, shoulder length hair, and ice gray eyes (no pupil). Her eyes used to match her hair but went ice gray after she became blind. She wears a loose fitting dark gray, short-sleeved shirt and matching shorts that come down to her knees. On her hands are old, black fingerless gloves made from a substance like earthly
cotton. Trenna also wears shoes similar to earthly tennis shoes. They are made out of a thick, black leather.
Primary Weapon- Most don't expect the blind girl to fight so when Trenna is forced to, it comes as a surprise that she would fight with a wooden pole. Especially since it is not considered a weapon. Trenna uses anti-matter to form something like an invisible shield on the wooden pole that gives it more strength and protects it from breaking. She also uses the wooden pole as a guide.
Secondary Weapon- Although Trenna feels more comfortable using her wooden pole, a thin sword with a simple crossguard hangs at her side for emergencies.
Area of Special Ability- Trenna is very agile. She sees, somewhat, through sound. Noise made by her or other people or things will bounce off whatever is there and Trenna can pick up the echo. Sort of like echolocation used by earthly dolphins and bats, which went extinct some time ago. Othertimes she will use a wooden pole (See Primary Weapon).
Personality- Trenna is very quiet. She doesn't speak excessively. Because she is blind, Trenna feels discomfort in talking to strangers, unless her friends introduce them. She puts her trust in her two closest friends, Kearn Nock and Aelic Vaithor, who have been her friends since they were 11 years old and she 9. The chance to serve someone else, if she can, is a high honor to Trenna because of her beliefs.
Background- Trenna grew up in Shin, Yuuth, Viridia and remains there to the day. Trenna grew up with only a father, since her mother died at childbirth. Trenna got along as well as any other individual without a mother, but the pangs of sorrow seared across her emotions whenever she left them unchecked.
When she was young, it was her dream to become a pilot for one of the Gureino Government's airforce fighter ships, just like her father, Warriant Naysmithe. Then, at 9 years old the accident happened. Warriant died from his airship imploding. Trenna, who was also on the ship, was pushed out before it exploded. But that did not stop the debris from falling. A large medal plate, all screwed up and smoky hot, struck Trenna's eyes. Trenna's dreams of becoming a pilot died with her father.
It was Aelic's and Kearn's families that had helped Trenna after the accident. Her wounds healed within five months but her emotional wounds were, it seemed, beyond repair. She was very close to her father. And now she suffered the loss of her only living family and going blind. It took a long time, but finally Trenna came to accept everything that had happened to her. Her feelings toward the Gureino Government however had changed. No longer did she agree with many of their visions, thus converting her to an independent allegiance.
Trenna has spent most of her time exploring with Kearn and Aelic. No longer in the house her father owned, she escapes the painful memories.

Physical Characteristics- 6' tall and 156 lbs. Light tan, shoulder length dirty blonde hair that's pulled up in a ponytail, and cold blue eyes. Kearn wears a dark blue, sleeveless shirt, black pants and leather boots.
Primary Weapon- A silver edged broadsword with a wide blade and a dragonwing crossguard. The hilt is wrapped with reddish-brown leather. The bottom edge curves into a sharp point.

Personality- Sometimes arrogant when it comes to peoples' strengths and weaknesses. Nonetheless, Kearn is polite but outspoken. And also outgoing. He is shy around people who are not his friends. To his friends, Kearn is very loyal. He would do anything to protect them.
Background- Kearn lived in Viserex, Kowbault, Azurrel with his parents, Rucifel and Amalia Nock, until he was 9 years old. That's when he and his family moved to Shin, Yuuth, Viridia.
Kearn yearned how to become an assassin, like those he had heard about in Saitules, Vermilia, but once he found his talents in the broadsword his dreams changed. At the age of 14 he and his father built a practice area. Since then he's been training himself with different types of broadswords. He now hopes that he can make it to the May Tournament someday, though he knows that's nearly
impossible. The glory of winning the May Tournament is one of his passions to fight. To become stronger.

Primary Weapon- A beautifully crafted sword, slightly over 3 ft. long and double edged. Cords wind around the hilt like black snakes and disappear into the silver pommel at the bottom. Aelic calls his sword Furyn, which means Fury. His father crafted the sword. Aelic carries the sword with him in the sheath at his side.
Secondary Weapons- On Aelic's back is a holster, holding a .50-calibur Desert
Eagle pistol. He uses anti-matter to give the bullets the effect of fire once it hits its target, or at least hits something.
Area of Special Ability- Aelic's signature move with Furyn is called the tigeko mouliet, which is letting the opponent attack while defending, finding a moment's hesitation, then rapidly flicking the sword from the outside in, quickly thrusting foward afterwards.
Personality- Aelic is a follower. He greatly looks up to Kearn. Holding back his opinions mainly to himself makes him somewhat quiet. He always tries to put others first, sometimes to their benefit, sometimes to his. In battle, Aelic, like Kearn, is a fierce fighter.
Background- Aelic grew up in Shin, Yuuth, Virinda. Then at the age of 14, his father went to the Gureino Government to help the army. His father, Ravell, was a blacksmith and a soldier. Aelic, wanting to be with his father, enlisted into the army. Aelic was a foot soldier, placed in the back of the army because of his age. His father was farther ahead in the ranks. Because of his position he didn't fight as much as those ahead of him.
Aelic fought against the rebels in Buline, Koral. Days into the battle Aelic walked out on the battlefield. Bodies, cold and lifeless, were strewn everywhere. And there were still more people fighting. He wondered how could a government like the Gureino Government wants World Peace, and yet they were willing to kill millions of people to obtain what they want. Even those who supported them. Enraged Aelic tried to find his father and return home. He was the only one to return to his mother. Ravell was stabbed through the chest with javelin. Aelic became more enraged and filled with grief as he learned that he could not take the body home.
Years later, he never would have guessed that the Freedom Power Rebels, those who disagreed with the Gureino Government, would take control of Shin. The idea of an anti-Gureino Government society excited Aelic. He hopes that he can do anything in his power to fight against the Gureino Government.

As the head research scientist for the Gureino Research Team at Per-Perel, she conducts and organizes experiments concerning the secret information on the isolated island continent. Over a plain T-shirt and a pair of jeans is the stereotypical white lab coat. She is known as the "BDSW" (pronounced "Bed Sew") - Big Dark Sunglasses Woman - by her fellow researchers for the glasses she wears to protect her eyes.
Soul Siphon/Primary Weapon: Because of her (physically) pacifist personality, Yuri prefers not to carry a Soul Siphon. Apparently "Brandishing a weapon, much less carrying one, just perpetuates the violence". She would however, use her tongue in any discussion.
Secondary Weapons: "It's not a weapon. It's just a damn long pen for god's sake."
Area of Special Ability: Although not particularly remarkable in any physical area, Yuri replaces this absence with an eye for details and a brain for strategy and logic. With her own alterations, she is capable of enhancing her vision to over a hundred times the normal capabilities of regular human eye sight.
Personality: In contrast to her argumentative character, Yuri is at all levels against violence of all kinds. She may seem aloof in most situations - her research is her self proclaimed "Raison D'etre; I have no time for idling talk!" - but when prompted to discuss something she finds interesting, she'd go to most any means to prove her argument correct. The thing is, most times she is. In terms of her personal life, she is extremely committed to those she holds close to her - especially her younger sister.
Background: Coming from a lower class family somewhere in Safire, Azurrel, Yuri was some what of an "anomaly". "I had big dreams amongst a lot of no-dreamers". Eventually, she left for Safire University at Wylie, the most prominent research university in Azurrel, and quickly established herself as one of the rising scientists and innovators of Second Earth. After being hired by the Gureino Government for her abilities, Yuri is now one of the most pronounced Antimatter Research Scientists in the current global society.

Physical Characteristics: 6'6", 260 lb, short peppered hair. A big commanding man, Kyberg is not only intimidating but short tempered as well. Despite that, underneath his heavy set brows are a pair of sharp eyes. A liberal to the core, Kyberg goes against almost all traditional wisdom. If a straight line represented formalities, his 'line' would be a jagged ripple of overlapping dots. Even his plain t-shirt, shorts, and sandals sometimes misrepresent him as the leader of the Freedom Power Rebels.
Soul Siphon/Primary Weapon: Although his main motto is to "Finish things quick and tasty", Kyberg - against usual stereotypes - does not wield the big club or the heavy ax. Although he is quite capable of dealing things with his fists, Kyberg uses as his primary weapon a thin but durable platinum whip consisting of strung-together solid spheres. Dotting the spheres are small but hollow cylinders.
Wielded without antimatter enhancements, the whip is capable of doing considerable damage hence the strength of its user. Even the small cylinders protruding out the spheres are capable of ripping and shearing the hardest of elements.
The greatest attribute of the weapon, however, is its maneuverability. Capable of manifesting more amounts of metal out of the various cylinders, Kyberg can use the differentiating weights to easily control the whip. More like a twisting snake in this sense, the weapon is also capable of expanding, lenghtening, or changing to a variety of web like shapes.
Secondary Weapons: None.
Area of Special Ability: Although Kyberg does not have any special exotic ability, despite his size, he is capable of moving quite quickly. In addition, he also contains a much larger antimatter potential than other persons, constituting the theory that larger people might have more stores of antimatter.
Personality: Kyberg has a dual personality, the first and more common one showcasing an intimidating excitement capable of not only a quick temper but also of a rousing passion to motivate his followers. The other trait, often hidden and often surprising even to his closer subordinates, is characterized as quite witty and strategic; not only is he a football player, but a football coach as well. With these traits together, one can see how he pulled together and started the anti-Gurei Freedom Power Rebels.
Background: Growing up from a friendly middle-class family, Kyberg felt often that he took things for granted. Recognizing this trait as unforgivable to his parents and to himself, Kyberg worked passionately to fulfill his dreams of helping others. With influence as a burgeoning businessman, Kyberg still felt that this postion was too limited and too constricting. After her finally felt that the restrictive Gureino Government was the cause of his feelings, he began the journey to manifest his dreams of a freer society.

Physical Characteristics: 5ft10, slim, moderately fit, skin verging on pale, brown hair, hazel eyes, Wrent is not built for fighting. Usually wearing a tattered lab coat, but outside of work he wears basic civilian garb (jeans, shirt etc).
Soul Siphon/Primary Weapon: Due to the high danger levels of living in Rebel Viridia, almost all citizens carry a soul siphon and Wrent is no different. He carries with him at all times what seems to be an innocent wrench, but is actually a modified soul siphon. A small switch on the side injects a miniature syringe into the palm of the user, using magnetic sensory devices to avoid nerves and find a vein. The blood seeps through the wrench, empowering it with antimatter. Up to a litre of blood at a time can be held within the wrench, giving it a rusted tint when full. He also uses the wrench for everyday engineering tasks; the highly malleable head of the wrench can morph to fit just about any nut, screw or even nail, and by generating matter then reducing it again with antimatter, enormous force can be exerted with minimal human effort, allowing even the mightiest of vehicles to be technically possible to create with simply the materials and the wrench.
Secondary Weapons: Wrent uses his nuts as a secondary weapon. A small toolbox full of nuts, bolts and the like sits on his workbench, and he carries it home each night with his briefcase. One compartment, locked, holds nuts already infused with his blood - for use in emergencies. If, however, he has his wrench, a nut can be slotted into the wrench, filled with blood and antimatter, and fluck away from the wrench like a watermelon seed. Some small power can then be channelled from this nut, provided it is given "code" beforehand - for example, the nut could be channelled to give off a smokescreen while in the wrench, and after being thrown it could be triggered by some small concentration. The most power that can be drawn from a nut is that of a small grenade; of course, the heat given off by a grenade is immense, so creating a smokescreen or similar would be sustainable for perhaps an hour.
Area of Special Ability: A brilliant logistics and economics scientist working for the Freedom Power Rebels, he also has an ingenious but little used creativity with weapons. However, an army runs on its stomach and the stomach is fed by the people, so his work is perhaps even as important as the ever-continuing work on X-22s (http://forums.finalfantasy-xiii.net/showthread.php?t=2036).
Personality: Fairly easy to get on with but perhaps a little too enthusiastic about his work, Wrent can owe his success at least in part to his diplomatic improvisation dealing with the Freedom Power Rebels; an arrogant pig would not be accepted into the rebels from outside, no matter his scientific prowess.
Background: In west Viridia, born and raised, he spent most of his time inside. Born of lower-upper class parents - his father was a doctor at a small hospital a few miles south of Yuuth and a few miles north of the town Wrent lived in. His mother was in charge of a small private research team, based west of his hometown. They dealt mostly in food-based research; industrial deep freeze technology, economizing on electricity or antimatter. The business was steady but not hugely successful. His father died when he was 15 of a type of cancer that was eradicated and cured just months later - until the age of 18, he trained as an economics and transport development scientist, with a decent knowledge also of mass food storage and transport picked up beforehand.
In the Freedom Power Rebels uprising 6 years ago, his mother was killed by resistance forces before they were crushed; she was one of the few hundred original dissenters, unhappy with the current government and state of world affairs. She was unconcerned about the reliance on Azurrel, like Wrent, but unconcerned about the growing Aurelien presence, unlike Wrent - although the rate of growth back then was lower, and her line of work was less likely to be affected. Wrent then went on to continue in his mother's line of work, food storage, but for the Viridian government's military uses. After several months of work, he stole several wads of paperwork and fled to Rebel Viridia, where he has been living ever since, working on an armoured refrigerated food transport vehicle (ARF-TV) among other things.

Just before her mother's death, she learned that she was one of the last remaining descendants of a race of shape-shifters called Ciendes*. Fearing of what people would think of her if they knew, she never told her father or friends about it, and over time, she began to fear even strangers.
(*The Ciendes are known to have died out in the last two hundred years by some mysterious disease. Most normal humans were extremely prejudice of the shape-shifters, since they consider them of "half-beings" and monsters. Thus the people of this race often become scapegoats of most crimes)

Soul Siphon/Primary Weapon: Like all children of Second earth she too was trained to fight. Her father taught her use of the polearm, which she learned well. Possessing the ability to channel heat in the weapon; so the blade would heat to an extreme heat. The weapon could burn, and sear when it came into close contact
Area of Special Ability: Seeing as she fights with a melee weapon, she is highly susceptible to range attack. To combat this weakness She may invoke powers of light. Mind-numbingly bright light of colors cascades around her, making her difficult to look at, in effect those trying to aim from afar would be blinded. Unfortunately it comes with a price as many things do. To invoke this, it requires a great deal of energies, making her slow in response during attack.
Personality: A proud and elegant, dedicated young women, with a bit stubbornness and independence. Patient yet rather easy to anger. She has a bad temper, when Patience is shot. She hates to fail.
Background: Freya is the youngest children of three to the Governor of Weine. Her elder brother Virgil Chastain de Aphrodite(24), and her elder sister Sophia Chastain de Aphrodite(23), who is now married to the monarch of Amethest. Her sister Sophia often relies on her sisters company at court, which gives Freya a chance expose her talents in Drawing and Painting, and even a little dance in her repertoire. Many of the aristocrats in the country have commissioned portraits and other paintings. Therefore making her a highly celebrated Painter. As she grew up her parents saw her talent and took every care to assist her in her training, apprenticing her to a master. Even today she looks to further her skill, hoping to perhaps cross other master painters like her self, in court, to learn more. Their Elder brother Virgil often accompanies Freya to her visits to court, but often must head back earlier then she, to attend to family business back home with their father.

Name: Dr Hamza Halfmetal

Physical Characteristics: Hamza is about 185cm in length. He’s slim yet muscular. He has dark-brown eyes, short black hair and brown skin (He’s Asian, Pakistani style). His attire is a uniform black, with silver - coloured threads, loose T-Shirt his grandfather gave him, dark blue jeans which are rolled up a bit to uncover a light blue under side, black trainers, Purple-black over coat and a yellow scarf.
Soul Siphon/Primary Weapon: Dual Wielding Dao’s, with a leather strap fastened on each of the handles to help keep his Dao's in his hands. Able to control the electrons in the metal-metal bond, Hamza’s blades can become electrically charged and are able to cut through anything. However, this lasts for just one swing or jab for each sword. This move taxes Hamza's stamina significantly. His stance is that his legs will be shoulder-width apart with his right foot slightly more forward than his left foot and will hold both blades horizontally with the right blade at shoulder height and the left blade at stomach height:

Secondary Weapons: A mythrill amulet he wears around his neck and is tucked in under his coat. If he is disarmed of his blades, or requires a different weapon for a specific purpose, he will use his alchemy to transmute his amulet into whatever blade is required. This is also his Soul Siphon weapon.
Fighting Style: Hamza fights very strategically changing his weapon to suit the situation and how he should go about tackle the situation. His main aim is to exhaust his opponents or disarm his opponents and then start a merciless attack. Hamza is best at close range combat. Having mastered Northern Shaolin Wushu is difficult to keep at pace with him. The threat not only comes from the blade in his hand but also from his frequent kicks, and he can kick high, so Hamza is good at keeping his foe on his toes. To disarm his opponents he will either try to do so physically, i.e. with a weapon, or do so with his alchemy, by first calculating what the metal is, his foe’s weapon his made out of and then using his alchemy to either turn it into a Kunai Knife (If he is weapon less), or just a small ball. However, this is only used if he has no other option .He always considers what will cost him the most energy to do and is very energy-efficient when it comes to fighting so he doesn’t tire very easily.
Area of Weakness: Hamza’s disadvantage is that at first his alchemic abilities are limited mostly on changing the structure of his weapon and must rely mostly on his martial arts. His biggest disadvantage, however, is that although he’s in great shape and is lean, his physical fitness can not be compared to those that fight for a living, i.e. Soldiers.
Area of Special Ability: Hamza’s biggest area of specialty is his knowledge. His extensive research in Soul Siphons means he knows almost all types of uses for Soul Siphons, and thus nothing is a great surprise to Hamza.

Personality: Hamza is a pensive, analytical folk. He may venture so deeply into thought as to seem detached, and often actually is oblivious to the world around him.
Hamza is relatively easy-going and amenable to most anything until his principles are violated, about which he may become outspoken and inflexible. He prefers to return, however, to a reserved albeit benign ambiance, not wishing to make a spectacle of himself.
Feeling tends to be all or none. When present, his concern for others is intense, albeit naive. In a crisis, this feeling judgement is often silenced by the emergence of thinking, who rushes in to avert chaos and destruction. In the absence of a clear principle, however, Hamza has been known to defer judgement and to allow decisions about interpersonal matters to be left hanging lest someone be offended or somehow injured. Hamza is at risk of being swept away by the shadow in the form of his own strong emotional impulses.
He’s very kind and caring also and is extremely patient and hard to anger. Hamza also manages to find the funny side of things, also. He also has a fear of handling a gun. Any attempt in trying to teach him might very well result in injury (and it doesn’t have to necessarily have to be him that gets injured!). I’d like to explain why, but the reason is so funny I’d rather save it for a post. He's very polite and well-mannered. He also has this thing with drinks. He only likes to drink things like apple juice, milk and water, avoiding alcohol and other bad-habits. He also likes to eat in moderation. Hamza can be very philosophical. Indeed, it is philosophy that often makes him venture so deep into thought. He also has strong ethics; however, politics has never been a major concern for Hamza so far and very rarely follows it.
Background: Hamza’s history starts with his grandfather who was born in Buline and became an excellent soldier, exceeding all expectations and becoming a Brigadier General at the age of 25. He had a son (Hamza’s father) a year later. When he retired at age 42 he decided to migrate to Gurei, believing he could give his son a better lifestyle and education, but had to settle as a mythrill blacksmith. He taught his son, the martial arts he had learnt from the Military, whilst going to school. His son, fascinated with the martial arts, mastered it at the early age of 10. At the age of 23, he married a young scientist that worked for the The Gureino Government on Soul Siphons; he met in the Neguro University, and took her last name, Halfmetal, instead.
3 years later, they had a son called Hamza. Whilst going to school he was also home tutored advanced science by his mother. His mother also helped him learn more about Soul Siphons and antimatter. When Hamza was 11, however, things began to go horribly wrong.
One day, Hamza woke up to find his house on fire. He ran out of his bedroom and into the giant hall to discover his mother and father dead. Hamza escaped the burning building, dragging his dead parents out. The fire-fighters said they had no idea how the fire could have started and from there, the case was left alone.
Hamza went to live with his grandfather who taught him more about the martial arts and many other things such as survival techniques, tactical improvisation, determining character or personal characteristics from the form or features of the body, especially the face, being wary of his surroundings and better memory using memory games, and also how to fight with a Double Edged sword, a Dao, twin Dao’s, a Dagger, a Shurikan, A hook and chain, a Spear, a Double edged staff, a bow and arrows, a Giant Axe and a Rapier and hand-to-hand combat. He was also taught Celerity and Catharsis. He, also, taught him how to forge weapons which became a quick hobby for Hamza. However, when Hamza reached 15 his grandfather collapsed. He died when they reached the hospital. The doctors said he died of a heart attack.
Left with a small fortune, he decided to apply for University, despite being quite young. He was given a placement when the University interviewed him and realised that Hamza knew an exceeding amount on science and soul siphons. It took him only three years to get a PhD, and so, at 18, he was the youngest person ever to graduate from University and get a PhD, and was thus awarded a prize for outstanding achievement. Hamza even discovered two whole new natural manipulations, he calls Alchemy and Restoration. Alchemy is a three-step process of changing an item into another. The steps are analysis (to understand the structure and properties of the substance that is about to be transmuted), destruction (to break the substance down to its rudimentary properties), and reconstruction (to rebuild the substance into another shape and/or with different properties. However, Hamza has only so far found that he can transmute metals and metal oxides, efficiently. Human transmutation, Hamza will find is extremely difficult in small sections and almost impossible in large sections, when the human is alive. Restoration is the art of quickening the healing process of the self or another person by using up the body’s resources. The growth of new limbs however is beyond this capability and blood can not be replaced this way. Hamza is now taking a gap year to travel around the world.

Physical Characteristics: 5ft 10, slim. He has longish white hair and green eyes. He is white and wears a leather vest over a baggy sleeved, cotton shirt. He is open collared and wears black jeans.
Soul Siphon/Primary Weapon: Double rapiers attatched in sheathes to his leather belt. Though it saps his strength enormously, his blades can turn to gold, when this occurs they hit with a huge amount of force, being able to propel objects or people across rooms. Though it saps his energy greatly he does not appear effected during a fight.
Secondary Weapons: He also wears a gold ring that he had siphoned. If used it creates a barrier around the user that protects those within from external harm. The ring is important to him because it was given to him from a close friend when he was younger. She went missing and life moved on but he always kept the ring as living memory.
Area of Special Ability: He uses his agility as his main advantage. He is mercilessly quick with his blades and a master of celerity. He tends to his blades himself to ensure quality and never replaces them. The only time he faulters is when faced with blue-eyed brunettes for they remind him of someone he once knew.
Personality: He is gallant with his friends and members of opposite sex. He prefers not to kill if he can and doesn't like to fight women. He is well known for his love of anything and everything shiny and also for being particularly gullible. This is a false attribute for he only believes legends and rumours because they are so. He believes that people do not look for what they believe does not exist.
He feels indifferent to the strife of the various factions having the belief that they can sort it out themselves. His one obsession is one of the oldest rumours of a ship city. Though treasure always comes first he will help out a friend in need, so long as that friend is important enough to him or has enough money to reimburse him for his time.
Background: Though his background is hazy, it is thought that he was no one of signifigance until he stumbled across a golden sword at a young age. Here his obsession began. He began to search for treasure and gave up the security of a home, preferring to wander.
Over the next few years he unearthed a number of valuables put them in a vault in a bank in Neguro. At the age of 16 he met a brunette who he fell in love with, usually sceptical of the concept of love he found this unusual and irrational. After three years she disappeared along with her parents. He was heartbroken but kept a ring she had given him as a gift. This would be siphoned later.
He had found limited truth behind many rumours and legends of Second Earth, finding that few people believed enough to search out the real answers. He was quickly entranced by the possibilty of the ship city and spent the two years up to present day researching them. He found a few corresponding facts and continues his search for the truth.

Background:Shayaara was born in aurelia to an average family and attended martial arts classes on and off throughout her childhood, finally sticking to the southern style of kung fu. She re-guided herself away from social activities her whole life....and prefered keeping herself distant, thus learning (in this time) the skills she desired to learn. Feeling herself misunderstood by some as an annoyance in a self-concieted decision she decided to snitch on the neighbouring village which only she hated with passion about the illegal trade which they were doing at the time. The village was decapitated and the occupants removed to region 2 of the new city where they were always kept under strict 24 hr surveyllance. Deeply regreting this decision she joined a small legence which freed the villigers in region 2. After they evacuated the residents they blew up that sector.

Soul Siphon/Primary Weapon: Although not soul siphoned, Lawrence’s heavy assault rifle (H-AR) has been updated from the standard special force version, including higher rate of fire, a scope with a red dot sight, a double clip to decrease reloading time, armour piercing ammo which can penetrate doors, and a butt stock to decrease recoil.
Secondary Weapons: Switch-blade, drawn in extreme conditions of close combat.
Area of Special Ability: All Lawrence’s special abilities are with his H-AR. His upgrades and their abilities have become second nature to him, meaning he knows all the strengths and flaws of his weapon, meaning he can use it with deadly force and accuracy. Whilst many who chose to join the Gureino’s special forces chose to take the melee approach to training, meaning they used special grade swords or pikes, Lawrence chose to remain in the back rows, taking shots at the enemy.
Personality: Years of being trained to be soulless during assignments to make killing terrorists or even civilians have made Lawrence careless and silent. Although his skills with an assault rifle have made no need for cocky-ness, when he is somehow beaten, he becomes angry and will travel to the ends of the earth to gain revenge.
Background: Lawrence was trained to forget his past and only to remember his goals of whatever mission he was assigned. After 3 years of training in an underground facility underneath Neguro, his first assignment was to aid in the eradication of a small village in Vermilia, where he was raised. Because his first training exercise was to psychologically wipe all memories of his past from his mind, he felt no remorse when he quickly and sharply made his way through the small wooden houses, killing many civilians, most of which he had grown up with. Leading this “search-and-destroy” mission had earnt him public awareness of his actions. The Gurei Government propaganda ministry convinced the public that his assignment was to destroy an entire FPR factory, which was instead just rumoured to contain one small FPR cell out of the 100 people. The public made him an overnight hero, which in turn earnt him more and more “dangerous” assignments.

Physical Characteristics: 5'5", 115 lb, short and slender. Eris has a friendly but elegant manner of holding herself. Indeed, she is always presentably formal, if not a bit shy. She prefers wearing pants instead of skirts or dresses, and she also prefers her brown hair to be short, thinking that it often gets in the way. As a member of a family supportive of the Vaughn household, she usually wears the respective blue and gold colors.
Soul Siphon/Primary Weapon: Two twin swords shaped as as two foot long feathers, they are double edged and easy to maneuver. Like the feathers of a bird, they are not only strong and hardy, but capable of bending into various shapes. Both are efficient weapons, allowing the user to quickly adapt to different situations.
Secondary Weapons: None.
Area of Special Ability: Ascendancy, a style that emphasizes a constant barrage of offensive attacks. It requires an intense amount of energy, and consequently a large amount of focus by the user to finish the bout quickly - usually with the first strike. The style often represents some sort of predatory animal - cat, falcon, wolf, etc. - as the user focuses on physical enhancements: speed, strength, senses, etc. Although it lacks any distinguishable matter manifestation characteristics, like summoning fire, there is usually an element attributed to the user's own personality.
In Eris' case, like a falcon, she is skilled especially in manipulation of the wind. She is adept in celerity - especially when attributed to wall running or gliding - and in such she is comfortable in complex environments. Close combat is her specialty, even though she finds it to be quite intimidating.
Personality: Eris has a strong mind albeit a conservative personality. Self motivated, efficient, and intellectual, she strives to learn more information. In fact, she graduated as the salutatorian of her upper school, before moving on to train for the military. Despite that, she has a strong sense of morals and commitment to her close friends and family - which sometimes renders her naive to the brutal reality of the world.
Background: Growing up next to Soren in a family underneath the Vaughn household, Eris was sheltered and established to be a successful woman. Her surroundings - family, location, etc. - all contributed to a certain naivity on her part: she has rarely been out of Extence. Although she realizes that her secluded world is indeed different from the reality of the outside, she does not realize the full scale of its possibilites - good or bad. However, because of her strong willed character, she is capable of coming over almost anything.

Physical Characteristics: 5'9", 110 lbs. Bluish silver long wavy hair with white flower hairpin. Dark gray eyes, white skins. Wears kind of medieval futuristic clothes. Colored shade blue and silver gradation. And wears a black boots.
Soul Siphon/Primary Weapon: A hidden iron whips that became the disguise as her heels. It transformed into whip when a has several spikes at the most side of it. And she uses them by swinging her legs through her enemy and create most hurtful attack. If she uses her Soul Siphon to made wind pressures like kamaitachi (blade created from wind pressure) around her iron whip, she could even made a typhoon.
The base of her movement and attack is the same as Sonia Road from Air Gear.
Secondary Weapons: The flower hairpin she uses is a disguise for a needle-like weapon.
Area of Special Ability: Eil is a high speed fighter which relies on body's movement very much. She has a strong physics to hold the power of her own weapon. And she master full body 360 degrees movement which affects her attack range.
Personality: Eil is a warm hearted girl but harmful as she gone serious. And she's a very caring person and love children very much. A girl with nature talent of good eyes which makes her a very careful person. Not easily tricked one.
Background:
Eil is a girl who determined into being an Elite Guardian of Gureino Government. She known as the Deadly Dancer because of her fighting style. She lives in an orphanage at Srenis. Living with some other children that she cares. She didn't remember anything about her parents. Because she started her new memory where she founded fainted in front of the orphanage when she still a very small girl.
