penguins...the new Pingu's sux bad, nut pingu at all. Dad's clearly ggot a new voice actor and so does Pingu. Back in early-mid 90's, those clay animations were way funnier and the sounded better and 'pinguian' sopunded more civilized. Havent seen Happy Feet, but it looks crap as all tooned musicals are, certanly from Disney >.< What are the other penguin movies?
Btw, In R&CF:ToD, the new morpher transforms enemies into penguins, though these are individuals with glasses, hats, etc.

penguins look innocent and cute and all so it's more fun for little kids to watch. I don't know how old everybody is but I think most of us already past the age to watch those kind of movies anyway..

I was just wondering that a few days ago. Maybe it's to raise awareness for global warming?

Surfs Up.

Same principles as Happy Feet, yet they've replaced Singing with Surfing.

Maybe they are trying to tell us something that is happening with/to penguins and they are like trying to warn us or something? I don't know.. some shit like that anyway.

Disney are running outta ideas. Penguins?! Rats? Wtf..They should just concentrate on the PoTc movies. The kids that watch those animated disney movies have enough to watch. Why show them crap about singing/surfing penguins

It's probably got something to do with raising awareness for the wellness of the planet. I dunno if you've noticed but more and more disney movies are starting to involve human antagonists that are trying to destroy the anthropomophic protagonist's habitat or something like that. It makes the kiddies think "Giant lumber mills are bad" and if they grow up to be president or something, a 20 year old disney movie might get them to make environmentally friendly decisions. Yeah right.

Pixar are a childrens cult.
Pixar is awesome. And they haven't made any penguin movies. So I'm not sure how that was relevant.

that is exactly what I have been trying to tell them but they just insisted.
