Why mobile games? Why!?

I hate the outburst of FF mobile games. Seriously, how many people must buy them? :rolleyes:

Games like DOC: Lost Episode, Before Crisis and Agito (Although we have only one screenshot) dont interest me. Im not too interested in Agitio BECAUSE its on mobile.

What do you think about FF Mobile games? :cunning:

I think S-E seems to realise there isnt much market for them because they keep making them prequals that only add to the storyline a bit not in any major way.

I dont really like them because I find mobile games boring. They should be releasing more PSP games i think. Even a DS title is better than a mobile game.

No, you're wrong! :P Mobile phones sell hugely in Japan. They keep making them because they're so popular in Japan. Japan's newest mobile has a motion sensor on it so you can practise your golf putt. :lmao: Ok, so thats pointless...but they're big on mobiles.

However, i agree that they should focus more on the games that "matter".

No one in Europe of America seem that interested, but like Vivi said, they're huge in Japan. They're pretty much just making them for the market over there and don't give a shit about everyone else :cunning:

I doubt I will get one for my mobile. But I might download some kind of emulator to it to try on my pc.

Yeah, there's a huge market for mobile games in Japan. They have different networks over there (kinda like G4 for video feeds, etc.), and just the whole infrastructure on games makes it a big thing.

But yeah, over here, no one plays 'em. But then, I don't think they even intend to release these mobile games for the NA market. They're basically strictly for Japan.

Sucks that they favour Japan. But c'mon, makes sense. Sony is Japanese, afterall. :)

They should make it for both PS3 and Mobile, or at least some console because games are meant to be played on a console on a big screen. x ___ x Square-Enix is just being mean.

yeah, japan's like having phones that would cost $3000 or so in the US for Y5000. and I'm pretty proud of my SE P900 that can play .AVI files and play gameboy games via emulator...bah, Agito will be hacked faster that windows XP and be available for torrent a couple of days after release. but since i's going to japanese, I'll have to practise my jap, as I only know jow to pronounce a few words.
