News via DCemu (http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=72450)
A short while ago, i took the initiative to start a online petition to get Square Enix to start developing Kingdom hearts onto the PSP. Heres some of the information.
Email i sent to Square Enix
"Firstly i would like to say hello to all the staff at Square Enix. I have recently started a online petition to get the good staff at Square Enix to start development of Kingdom Hearts onto the PSP. As a person who is very much involved with the PSP community, we all felt as a whole that this game is a must on the Playstation Portable.
Heres the petition information-

I'm hoping to get over 20,000 signatures. If i do i would hope for some sort of response from Square Enix.
Sincerely,
Rafael Bernard"
Now heres the Petition information

I'm hoping to get at least 20,000 signatures. This would mean that i will need the cooperation of the entire PSP scene as a whole and i would hope that other sites will also add this to there news sites as well.

I'm not going to sign this because SE has way too many projects in the works right now, and this will only slow them down more.

How on earth did he get Square-exix's email address? I've been trying to look for Square-Enix Europe's email address for ages.

Anyone who seriously thinks a petition like this is going to have any effect on what Square Enix does is delusional.
There have been plenty of petitions to remake FF7 and as yet they have had no impact whatsoever - this one here has over 20000 signatures:

Sorry to burst anyones bubble, but large companies like Square very rarely, if ever, take notice of internet petitions. All they are interested in is sales figures.
Anyway, isn't it likely that there will be a PSP KH game at some point? Surely it's better to wait until after the Tokyo game show before starting something like this? For all we know they may have had such a game in development for a while now.

This kind of crap does not work. For example KH2:FM. KH fans wanted the game to come out of japan and they started e-mailing SE and started petitions like this crap. Won't work people. You'll just be wasting your time.

They already put one on GBA which is pretty much the same, and that game was horse shit.

Well there was a recent petition to Capcom to bring Resident Evil onto the PSP and someone from Capcom found it and emailed the creator saying if you can get 10,000 signatures then they will begin to seriosly consider it. Something like that. This person probably saw that and felt that there was hope. I think it could make a difference, but I don't think that Square has time. Both to really look into the petitions and actually go about making the game.

There is a KH project and development right now and Nomura said something about it being on a handheld it's also going to be revealed at TGS
This petition is pretty useless since TGS is pretty close and I'm sure they decided on what system the game is going to be on
Although I really hope this game is for the PSP since Dissidia looks and plays a lot like a KH game plus the fact that most action games suck on the DS

The only email addresses for Square Enix that I know of are these:
info@square-enix-europe.com For Square Europe
support@square-enix-usa.com. For Square USA
I don't know any for Square Japan
These email addresses can be found on the SE Europe and USA websites, but they are well hidden in the support/privacy information sections, where they probably think no-one will bother to look. Kind of gives the impression that Square don't want to hear what their fans think, doesn't it? They don't have forums either, which is annoying - Capcom have a really good community/fan section on their site and have a really good attitude to their fans, which is something Square should learn from.

They had forums a good while ago (read 3-4 years). New forums are supposed to be opening up sometime.

They've been saying they were going to open forums for ages now, but still nothing.
I like to think SE Europe won't actually do it because they would instantly be bombarded by angry messages from fans asking why we have to wait so long to get games in this territory. Valkyrie Profile Silmeria being the current worst example which is launching in europe this month, near enough 12 months after its US release.

At least it's better then Front Mission 5 which isn't getting released outside of Japan at all
Not that I'm complaining, I pirate all of my games >__>

I am not supporting their lack of interest in the people buying their games just stating they had them before.

I've searched everywhere for Square-Enix contact details other than their support emails and come up with nothing. I suppose that's one reason why idiots email me thinking we're Square-Enix. I do know a couple of people who are in touch with Square but I don't think they'd divulge their email with us.

That's fair enough, but it does beg the question of why did they close the old forums down? Just out of interest, did you ever post on them yourself Desi?

Just out of interest, did you ever post on them yourself Desi?Yes several times. Mainly in the PS1 sections like Parasite Eve and Brave Fencer Musasahi. It was basic at best and still filled with the same type of people gooing over anything Square related.

Yea, one time I actually sent them an e-mail through one of the support e-mail addresses.
They got it, and sent me something back that said that they appreciated my interest in the company and some other crap....
I have no idea why I sent the e-mail in the first place, I must have been really pissed or really bored.....:|
