Heh, it was a joke. I'm used to use marvin as an avatar, but in the early beginning of the forum I was the only one without a FF realated avatar. So I made one fast. If I ever bother I might make it with a bit more style.

There must be some game on the PSP but i get the feeling this will be an MMORPG. FFXI is getting old and now its been confirmed theyre not making a sequal and the PS3 has better internet connectivity than the PS2 less things are stopping them from doing it. I'm sure some of you have seen this but it seems they could be making a whole compilation about the size of the FFVII one.

I don't see that becoming an MMORPG, SE said they would make a major FF (ie FFXIV, not a XIII part) a MMORPG.

I'm not fluent in Japanese, but if I am correct in assuming that 500 year span is Final Fantasy VII's projects, and 1000 years will be FFXIII?


So this could literally start in the midevil ages and go to XIII. A Wii / DS game featuring the midevil would be friggin' AWESOME.

Did you play Final Fantasy VII? At the ending, it says 500 years later, then shows Red XIII. Also, in FFVII:AC, it also shows 49# years.



Now, in the picture, FFVII shows 500, then japanese characters. 500 "YEARS" I would think.

FFXIII has 1000, then japanese characters. 1000 years spanning in the XIII project.



My refusal to buy a PSP has nothing to do with the game, it was simply a comment. I will not be getting Crisis Core, yet SE will still make it. I was hoping for a DS game, seeing as I'm not getting a PSP.

Yes there are three spaces open. But they could be anything movies, games, etc. There are endless possibilities, but personally I think Haeresis it going to be some kind of game. Maybe a multi-platformer, or perhaps a PSP game. I do not know!

At this pointit seams that everyone are busy at the moment with just hte first 3 ones it will take a lot of time before we can hear something about Haeresis. After all they have been making XIII since X and it came out ages ago but in the other hand it should be ready soon.
I just hope they have something to suprise us...

Uh huh, ok I remember the 500 year thing but I don't actually remember anything in the FF7 world involving the 500 year span. And when in AC did it show 49# years? Only thing of a date i can bring back to memory is maybe a sign but I don't know which sign.

Ok so i just loaded the movie up. After they run it says 498 as a play to this movie taking place 2 years after FF7. But what does this play in your agruement? Other then the 500 years representing that the world wasn't destoryed after meteor and somehow people have died out of moved away from their old metropolis(Midgar and outer heaven or whatever).

I acknowledge that. We both seem to be confused at one another(and you seem pissed).

I am trying to see what that would play in the story. I mean everyone is dead, it wouldn't even be a FFVII-2. The last remains of the cast lies in RedXIII(maybe vincent as well). What is left to explain? The promise land? The cetra? The world rebuilding itself? Just doesn't seem like a tale that has the effect/need to span 500 years. Now XIII is built around its own mythology, something like star wars or lord of the rings so I can see that.

It should be much longer then, because Jenova came to the planet 2000 years before the game took place and Jenovas actions triggered the events in the enire complication...

If 1000 years can bring us from horse & buggies to our current state of technology...imagine if FabulaNC started in a FFVIII style world, and FNC's story was told through a thousand years.

Plus, it's a MILLENIA. That's more than enough to have a series of wars, plots, and whatnot.

Pretty similiar to Mistwalker's Lost Odyssey in theory at least. The world would evolve as the ages past.

Well, it depends on the fans. Because everybody liked FFVII. So much that Square Enix decided to make a feature film and an OVA anime called; Last Order. Well, everybody that was playing FFVII lol.

If there can be just as much fans for FFXIII then Square Enix might just go ahead and do it.
