Ok..there is not a thread about this game.
So has anyone played it?
I just bought Drakengard 2 and it scared me >_<
But it seems a good game though...
So um..what about you?
Yes. And I hate the mega crappy supersecret shite ending from the first one. DON'T EVAR buy that game. It's a waste of your 10-20 bucks that you'll pay for it.
I just got the mega crappy supersecret shite ending the other day. You get destroyed by JETS.
YES I SAID JETS FFS.
Apparently, our world is the god's world. They come to that world, kill a statue thing AND GET SHOT DOWN BY JETS FFFFFFFFFS. :nag:
Drakengard 2 is epic win compared to the first one. http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z67/FFExtremeDerek/Smilies/thwacky7896-2-3.gif

They both are horrible games. Some of their concepts are interesting but still very badly implemented in-game. I am ashamed to own such a travisty but I look at it as keeping it out the hands of some unknowing gamer.
That is what you deserve Ultima Star for buying a game because it has the Square-enix logo. A big pile of pretenious convulted crap.

HA!!! oh that's funny. Kinda mean but funny.:D
This is why I watch game reviews on Gametrailers. I won't get hoodwinked by the evil Square logo. And they said pretty much the same thing as you, only they didn't use the word "Travesty".

----Most awesome game ever in my opinion. Who cares about what others say about the game? I know plain as day I can use the controls as easily as a one button using game. The storyline's intricately well delivered and not your average stereotypical happy-ending game. It's dark and a cult hit. Those other people who say otherwise just can't handle the devil of the game. I would say, though, that Drakengard's better with the dark tale than 2.

I admit the story was interesting, not great but interesting. I hated the way it was delivered most of the time as well. Those seamlessly random isometric cutscenes that never really told me much. I learned more about the story from the mission select menu's then from the characters. Lets not start on that horrid sound they call music.
Awkwardly there were positives. The way you selected missions was superb. I loved the fact that you could revisit any mission and redo certain parts so you can go to another story path. I also liked the ability to level up weapons not by exp but by kills. It made going to the first expedition level and killing all 800 enemies much more easier then picking a crap difficult level with a shit axe.

----Pfft. It's not your kind of game then. It's easy of controls and not frustrating at all and I play on Hard, both games.
