One of the rumours coming out TGS 2007 is that a new FFVII Compilation title will be revealed, entitled: Endless Crisis: Final Fantasy VII, and is supposed to be for the PS3.
I found this rumour on the gametrailers.com boards, which found it on forever-fantasy.net. I think the name sounds plausible, but then anybody could've come up with it considering the titles of the other Compilation games and the events that happen in Crisis Core. Personally I think this will be another sequel set after DoC.
The boards are awaiting the release of Famitsu and Shonen Jump magazines to see if the rumours are true.

We all knew that an FF7 sequel would be coming, but I think its a bit too early to announce it now because we still have 10 years of the compilation left.
In other words, its fake IMO. :/

It was funny on NeoGaf because it went like this:
Advent Children
Before Crisis
Crisis Core
Dirge of Cerberus
Endless Crisis (?)
Final Fantasy VII

Eh...sounds like a fake to me =/ I'm still trying to find a meaning to this title..hehe
And..how can you use Endless crisis anyway there's BC and CC so then it is supposed the Crisis has end and..lol
Anyway, I guess I'm going to wait..let's see if this is another rumor or a real statement:nod:
Though..I was still hopinh for the remake <_<

Well Endless Crisis makes sense as so far the series has gone: AC, BC, CC, DC. Also, Crisis is used here because of certain revelations that happen in Crisis Core. I won't say it here, but if you think about it, Crisis Core is obviously the core of the thing, Before Crisis is before that, and Endless Crisis refers to something that appears in CC. Now we assume that EC takes places after Dirge of Cerberus, and if you think about what was in the secret movie in DoC and then also what is in Crisis Core, it's not hard to figure out what the Crisis really is.

Still...<_< I dont think they're going to release a game with Crisis on the title again..and endless means it's never going to end anyway-_- and most of the story have to end that is if Square-Enix ever decides to stop with FF VII

I don't think it's literal, it's just like if something keeps happening and you go 'When will it end!?' or 'this is endless!', even though it will actually end.
Still, if the next game were to be the last in the compilation I always thought it would be called 'End Chapter'.

Has anyone noticed that the second word always starts with a "C?" (Besides Dirge of Cerberus but let's pretend the "of" isn't there. :P) </random>
I believe this is fake as well...

I think that's what I was getting at up there ;) All the titles end with C and begin with another letter whic has so far progressed up the alphabet. AC, BC, CC, D(o)C, and now possibly EC.
Although here's some trivia, Crisis Core was originally going to be called Before Crisis Core

Well it is possible. I'm only doubting it because of the timing. Square is just bombarding us with all these new titles. But as stated in my other thread, a sequel is guaranteed. They have to explain this entire issue with G.

I think that if they ever made a sequel to FFVII, it will be AFTER FFXIII and FFVXIII are released, that way they might have a even larger fanbase, and they could then improve on the flaws of the battle systems, that is, if there is any, I doubt they would still make it turn-based.
