Well people! Then it’s done. I have officially preordered the PS3 30 minutes ago. I earn about 1000 NOK each month and the PS3 cost 5634 NOK. I got about 2000 NOK now so I lack about 500-1000. Got to scrape that one off somewhere :cunning:

And as you definitely don’t know is that we have a 25% tax on luxury articles, (that would include a PS3.) I would like to state out that 5634 NOK = 898.37 $ = 701.36 € = 475.44 £

So there you go. It’s expensive.

When I say NOK, it means NOrwegian Kroners. So we just say kroner or kr for short.

You are one lucky person! I have to wait until I get to Christmas and then I "might" get one. That basically means if we have enough money. My parents won't let me do anything on the net that involves money and I have no job so I can't get my own money for it. It is really frustrating not knowing if I will get a PS3!

Hey, you're 15. Sad to hear that you lack money, but you're old enought to get some sort of job in a store close to you. Got a pal of me working in a ice cream dealer. Eats all the "unsaleable" ice cream he wants. :D And he got a impressive 15000 kroner during the summer. :ohmy:

Mainly I work at my family business for "free" 8 days a month and get 1000 kr. for that.

You can always work to get money. If you are lazy or something, don’t blame me to do to my job.

BTW: I got my PS2 after a deal with my mom that I would do anything she said immediately for ten weeks. Dishwashing, vacuum cleaning, get the mail etc. whatever she said I would do without complaining.

Well that is just the thing. My parents don't want me to waste time getting a job when I am a sophmore in high school so they won't let me get a job. I made a deal with them however. I can get a job when I get my license (in October). Then I can get a PS3 very easily! :crazy:

It's hard to get a job in this damn country >_< I dont live near anyone who wants to hire under 18 year olds and 3/5 of them are clothes shops. But luckily I get paid by the government £30 a week because im sticking with higher education :lol: those fools....i would have done it for free.

When we can I'm gonna pay £150 towards it, my brothers gonna pay £150 towards it and the other £100 will hopefully be our very early xmas present :P

Unless the price of the PSP has gone down I believe it was at $300 when I got it. It was once only type of a thing and I made my own sacrifices for it, but I really wanted it! I am hoping to squeeze $300 out for my birthday and then like $200-300 for X-mas. I don't know how much I will get from friends... hopefully a lot and then I can buy my laptop!

My Mom and Dad (divorced) are chipping in to get me a PS3. Then i'm not allowed to even think about getting something else from them. But that's when having a lot of relatives who love you comes in handy.
