It's been reported in various places that Square Enix USA have trademarked the name "The World Ends With You" in the US patent office. While there's no confirmation of exactly what it is, some websites are speculating that it is the western name for the DS game 'Subarashiki Kono Sekai - It's a Wonderful World'. They can't use the name It's a Wonderful World in the US and Europe because of copyright problems. Previously the game hadn't been mentioned for release outside Japan, so this is the first indication that it may finally be coming to fans worldwide.

I hope this turns out to be true, because Its a Wonderful World looked like a pretty decent game and something a bit different to the usual SE RPG stuff. The art style is kind of like Sega's Jet Grind Radio and the gameplay apparently makes good use of the DS's dual screens and stylus.
