It seems S-E is making a sequel of FFIV, for cell-phones.

i don't really care for cellphone games, in general.
as i've stated before - i like to use my cell phone to talk to people - not to game. i can't text people and game at the same time = no. i can't really imagine that anyone makes a decent amount of money from cell phone games.. just make them for PSP or PS3 even.

Other than to get more money, I could see no good coming form this, if anything, it will ruin IV.

The projects are considerably cheaper and have the potential to reach a lot more people (though they also sell for way less).

But yeah, I don't care for japanese cell phone games as I don't live in Japan nor have access to them. I prefer console games too, even portables are still an odd concept to me for some reason (my PSP will be plugged on my TV most of time when it gets here ~.~)

I really dont know how much they can continue with the original story. I guess a sequel could work because Zeromus said he would return... and we dont know much about what Kain is doing after the ending...

Well I hope they don't screw up the game.

Its one of the only few good Final Fantasy games that I like that haven't been screwed up.
They already ruined VII for me.

And I thought SE had enough on their plates already. I'm not really one for mobile phone gaming but to each his own I suppose, is this going to be another exclusively Japan mobile phone game?

^ Take it you will. SE is in the business to make money. I'm just glad that it's not another FFVII story. Now that was just getting plain ridiculous.

I still like FFVII, but not for the whole "Compilations" package. I find DoC's storyline kinda retarded except for some details, Advent Children is beautiful graphically but fails to deliver in plot too (expected though). Last Order was good except for Sephiroth jumping off the bridge lol
I have yet to play the prequels but I'm expecting something good from Crisis Core (at least nothing as bad as DoC or AC) and Before Crisis doesn't exist since it's on JP Mobiles.

FFIV could have a great sequel... if it was made for a real console (Nintendo ones don't count).
