i am a huge DMC fan and i can't wait to get DMC 4 but Capcom announced that dante isn't the main protaginist instead its this guy named Nero

I saw that Dante wasnt the main character too :( I think they prefered young Dante from DMC3 so they brought in a new younger character. Still it does look like its gonna be a great game ^_^

their have been rumors in different forums that you can play as dante in the game also and the Nero is actually Vergil

I have little knowledge on the subject but i do know its being made by the original DMC team. Maybe it could be a bit more like the first game because alot of fans didnt like the other two (which i think are okay :S)

DMC3 was made by the original team as well. Who do you know that didn't like the third game? That seems like the total opposite of what I hear(i loved it though).

alot of people complained that DMC3 was really hard. (not for me though.) so for DMC4 they are going to tone down the diffculty

DMC3 wasnt hard, yes it was a bit more difficlut than the other 2 but wasnt hard. I actually wanted them to make DMC4 harder cause if i cant beat it then ill spend a lot of time playing the game, thus giving me somthing other to do than being on the comp:P

Yeah it is alot harder. I find it hard to stick to games so im currently playing about 8 :P. I hate getting stuck on a game but its boring if its too easy.

Devil May cry 4 site, now up in English.

To me the only real interesting part is about the Red Queen. It finally makes sense as to what the developer meant when tuning the motorcyle sword. I only tune guitars so my guess was on that.

dmc4 is ps3 exclusive...

i think that they are going to make nero into a "brother from another mother" or something to that affect. He seems ok but i believe that its a mistake to not have dante as the protagonist.

if they do have multiple characters they should go more in depth with different scenes, story and levels. In DMC3 i still felt like dante with different moves when i was vergil.

I hope dmc 4 will come out soon but not for the 360. I'm not a playstation fanboy (just anti-ninty xP), I have a 360 too but I don't think the 360 controller will be that great for a dmc game and MS already has stolen plenty ps-exclusives so I don't think it would be fair...

In the recent Playstation magazine the producer of the game or whatever said that the game will be 50% Nero and 50% Dante which is awesome cos Dante rocks.

I read it was 60% Nero and 40% Dante. In any case, you do Nero's part first and then do Dante for the rest of the game. Frankly I think Nero is just as cool as Dante.

No way, Nero is way better than Dante, but then again, my opinion might change after playing and beating DMC4.

Nero seems more human to me. Not human as in more human than demon, but I mean emotionally. Sure, Dante is cool as anything because he's really cocky, but tbh I can't really imagine Dante ever truly loving someone, whereas from what I've seen in the trailers, Nero really seems to care for the woman in the white dress.

Nero is I think completely human, but I wonder why he can perform so many skills that makes dante have hard time defeating him. If he is human then one good shot is all he needs to die. hehe I remember when nero punched dante a lot of times when he was on the floor.

Well when i watched they both seem to be the same in the cut scenes. However in the games play id say the the 360 had slightly clearer graphics and the sound was clearer to. The ps3 version the sound was muffled.

Don't ever trust GT for comparision videos. They haven't set their PS3 to Full RGB and haven't tured white on so the game doesn't look as good as it could on the PS3 in their videos.

Considering that GT do not enhance the PS3's version to its full potential, the comparison of both shows that Capcom kept to their word of keeping the 360 and PS3 versions pratically identical, minus HD capability.

yes i agree, thats one of the reasons i wanted the ps3. The 360 controller is to bulky and heavier than the ps controller, this will make game play kind of orcward for 360 players. Another problem that may occur is u are liky to get hand strain as the buttons are harder and bigger where as with the Ps3 the buttons are softer and smaller allowing for faster game play for longer piriods of time.

I played the PS3 version. Everything was solid and pretty much perfect accept the graphics. Controls were great, it was so easy to pull of combos and make them look good, but the graphics... god. Jagged edges EVERYWHERE. It's nothing like the gameplay videos on the internet. I expect they've fixed this but we were playing "DMC4 demo version 1.2" or something... so I dunno.

those who are action/fighting game fans should know that noting can beat PS controller when it comes to combo...

well except maybe the arcade style controller for fighting game that easy for the player to do movement.

Well idk where you watched that, but i have both systems at home, and just to check i loaded up both trailers of DMC4 on my 360 and PS3... and beeing it a video file there really is not much deference in graphics but the sound out of my PS3 is better...

all i can tell is the ditale when things are far away on screen, say they look much sharper on PS3, on Xbox not as good. Still my 360 has been boxed... and planing to sell it off.

Another thing is, i hate when they make multy platform games, now DMC has been ruined, becouse it means couse of 360, they didnt use PS3 to a full potental, since 360 is a minus... i gess the game is made for 360, and then releaced on PS3, couse if it was made the other way, the game would not fit on a DVD, since Blueray is 3x bigger... catch my driff

Capcom must make the game at the level of the 360 standard due to PS3 having better graphic and so on.

And also some of PS3 features like the 6-axis of PS3 controller are not usable. I think if it was only on the PS3 there will be more game play features in the DMC4.
