Infiltration?

Like in most (maybe all) Final Fantasy games, there must be some kinda infiltration mission in Fabula Nova Crystallis for the main characters that includes some funny thing like disguising or something. :lol:

My memory doesn't go so well so I am missing out on some of the games in detail or title:

FFII: You get some member thing to be able to raid the Dreadnought all ninja-like in public
FFVI: You pretend to be on another person's side because of Celes
FFVII: You dress up as a soldier to go to Rufus's parade, dress up as a woman to save Tifa, quietly (or noisily) break into the Shin-Ra building, and probably many more
FFVIII: You disguise as a Galbadian soldier to raid a base and probably something else
FFIX: You pretend to be a drama group to kidnap Garnet, pretend to be married
FFX: You pretend to be.... not from Zanarkand =O;
FFX-2: You pretend to be one of those goons
FFXII: You pretend to be Basch xD

aaaaaand I dunno what else. Obviously there'd be infiltration in Fabula Nova Crystallis but do you think you'll ever pretend to be something on those missions? Much less disguise? O_o

In Final Fantasy XI: You pretend to be a Mercenary of the Aht Urghan Empire. Though you get full Merc benefits and even do missions that they do, you are really a spy from the Middle lands of Quon and Mindartia.

Lightning already did it in the trailer. Sneak on a train, probably dressed as the contaminated and take out the guards on it.

Sadly, in all the FF's they do it. It is never really done well and never builds up the tension. Even the Bouncer did it better.

FNC thread is made of Versus sigs. Anyway, i can imagine how FFXIII will have infiltration missions, but i cant imagine at this point in time, with hardly any extra info on characters or setting, how VS will have one. Then again, being a more action style game, i bet they'll be a sneaking mission.

I'd expect some grandscale operation to infiltrate Cocoon... And then we celebrate our victory! To the Butterfly's Cocoon, Cocoon's number one boozing hotspot! Oh, yeah!
And then, naturally, the soldiers come to crash the party and you have to fight your way out. Ah, that's gonna be fun...

it may be possible to do stealth stuff on vxiii, i was thinking that if he could teleport he would be able to render himself inviasble if he focused his power. what do u think guys lol.

Dear gods, fucking stop with saying how one does not like Versus XIII and whatnot! It's an FNC forums and people happen to like either one or the other games and there may be more of one. ><

Anyway, maybe in Versus XIII those guys we've heard of so far will probably drag the Prince into some sneaking mission. I dunno about Agito but I can't imagine the focus school to raid another school for a Crystal and XIII, well, it's 'cause she's Lightning and already sneaking onto someplace. :rolleyes:
