Challenge Ideas

Please post any challenge ideas you have in this thread. It will help me figure out what people want to compete / create. Plus, Im so tired i cant think of any ideas.

There's a..signature, avatar, wallpaper and Artistic challenge right? I'm not too sure, but i'll think.

Signature:
Black and White - Duh
Multiple stocks - Depends on the creator how many they want to use, just as long as there's more than 1 stock
Antagonist Sig - Any villain from any show, whether it's anime, movie etc.
Protagonist Sig - Read the above but replace 'villain' with hero :aldo:

Wallpaper:
Anime
Abstract
Vector
Some real person in the wallpaper, this can be celebrity, a model, picture from the picture gallery etc :aldo:

I have no clue for the avatar one.

As for sigs and wallpapers, maybe only a different content theme every time. Not sure about dimensions and whatnot.

I've got a signature challenge, which can also be applied for WPs and Avas if wanted: a TYPOGRAPHY challenge. Basically you have to only use texts and (maybe) graphic elements like vectors - so NO images. I could post a few examples that I found which prove it's very possible to make something just as badass simply with letters and vector shapes.

Artistic challenge should be left alone because it's all at our artistic liberty. O.oI don't concur.

You could have a constraint, and the whole point would be to interpret this in your own artistic way. For example, let's say the theme was Elements (Fire, Water, Earth, Wind) or something, and you'd have to do something in relation to that. You could make it abstract, take a photo of a fire, or draw an elemental Summon and so on and so forth.

Challenges could even be choosing a specific media D; Like doing an entry only in pencil b/w, paint etc.

Well-Photo editing could be a challenge-By that I mean using a stock image of a photo and editing it to the extremities :aldo: e.g maybe turning a photo into vector art.

You could give themes to challenges, for example like a "Cloud challenge" where a person has to incorporate Cloud somehow into their entry; be it sig, avatar, or art... whatever. Versus challenges, Lightning challenges, Chocobo challenge, FFVI challenge, Love Challenge, abstract challenge, EPIC challenge, name it and we'll have a fun contest.

For Writing, there should be a 55-word story challenge sometime. It's not impossible. =O Maybe an occasional screen manipulation challenge as well. :cunning:

How about another writing challenge, seeing as there r so many challenges with photo editing programs...why not have some more different writing challenges??

The reason I had so many challenges going on at once was to see which ones people were interested in entering, so now i can choose the appropriate one to use besides signature and avatar which will remain. There is always method in my madness.

Is there any chance that you could enter a video that you took and it's not an AMV? Just like the artistic challenge, you could take a picture and it's art, so why can't video be the same.
I'm just thinking of other possible categories but we only got one entry for the amv so i derno.

At the risk of making a stupid and unpopular suggestion, I'm going to suggest a contest where people use photoshop (or any photo editing software) to alter a xiii related photo so that it is funny. I've seen a few people do that already just for fun, so why not make it a contest?

Yeah, but it was all too much at once for me to bother to enter into more than one. It seemed a bit confusing and crowded, I dunno. :aldo: However, in the end I didn't get chance to even enter into one. Stupid Maths. :cunning:
