yah u do and i have to say he sux ass, i dont like playing as Vergil at all, cause u cant do the air hike and worst of all u have no guns:(

He leviates energy swords with his mind that he can shoot. He is as gay as he always been but at least his moves are cooler to watch then dante.

I heard a rumor that in one of the final boss fights if you inserted another controller into the slot then it would be able to control Vergil. I tried it but it didn't work, maybe cuz it wasn't another PS2 controller. Did anyone else manage this.

(semi off topic) Did I ever mention that the first time I played DMC3 whenever I turned into one of those Demon Forms I was able to do it for however long I wanted to. No cheats or anything it just happened. I had just beaten the bat chick, half naked, devil women and got the form were you could fly. After that I turned into it and the gauge never went down. You could say the game was pretty easy to beat after that.

yah me too, its not a cheat or anything its just the effect on a certain costume of his, i forgot wat it was though

Effect on a costume? It's just after I beat the game and started a new one it didn't happen. I got really pissed.

could have been a glitch. But I haven't given the SE version much play time(i hear you start off with a weird energy saving amulet), I know it isnt' like that on the original.

The boss fight with two players is when arakim(sp) is in his monster form. when he got the power of sparda.

So it is possible, I only had a spare PS1 controller so that's why it probably didn't work. I passed by the Special Edition recently while looking for a game in EB Games I was thinking about buying it but I couldn't see a point.

why do you guys hate vergil so much i think i play better with vergil than dante the game is worth getting if you don't have the orginal and plus its only 20 dollars

I got this game a few days ago because my friend said it was good. It's just a bit scary but it's pretty good so far.
