Two Questions both revolving Sephiroth?

1) Is Sephiroth shit?

At the end of VII you need two parties of 3 to take down his demon form then when he becomes the one winged angel you still need 3 people. In Advent Children Cloud does it single-handedly (True Sephiroth did piss him off first)

2) Is Vincent + Chaos stronger then Sephiroth/Cloud?

Throughout the VII storyline we are led to believe that Sephiroth is a unbeatable warrior who only grows stronger as the game progresses. Clouds team then beats Sephiroth. Sephiroth returns, Cloud beats him single-handedly. Enter Dirge of Cerberus: Weird lady with russian accent attacks Cloud, later attacks Vincent (we aren't shown who won, but she survived the battle with Cloud, how?) Vincent beats russian lady. Vincent + Chaos then destroys Omega Weapon single-handedly + Weiss (Is Weiss stronger then Sephiroth?)

Well with the first question I would kinda have to say that Cloud kinda got more powerful by the time Advent Children took place and Sepreroith wasnt as powerfulas he once was. Thats my opinon though.

but its not the same , i mean , cloud had reasons to beat sephirot and vincent had reasons to beat omega.

Sephiroth is like watching the three Broly movies in the DBZ universe. He just seems to get weaker and weaker as time goes on. If it makes you feel better, Zack fends him off by himself also before getting knocked out for story reasons.

PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFAm I supposed to reply to this? Cloud was a Military Personal worker that fought a good amount of battles. He was bathed with mako like everyone else in SOLDIER. He also has Jenova Cells. The only reason he never made SOLDIER was 1) that event in Nibelheim and 2) He has mental issues along with low self-esteem. He passed the physical exam and even in Before Crisis he was seriously strong.

in the ff7 game you get to face his "true" form. and it was that part that took 3 ppl in order to beat him.

in advent children he didnt showed his true form..maybe it was because he was "using" kadajs body or something.

I am just going to side with the people the fact that Sephiroth is dead and the current "Sephiroth" is nothing more than a shape Jenova uses. Much easier to play mindgames that way.

Only seen the Movie with Broly in it. I just see Sephiroth as a test for the characters now in the Final Fantasy VII compilation. I.e. if you can beat Sephiroth your strong. Im sure in the sequel we will see something far more powerful then Sephiroth return (Genesis plan)

You were talking about a, "spaz" look on their face. And I listed like what four or so people that did not have that look you were speaking of. Losing means nothing when you were talking about a facial expression. Cloud (by shaking, crying etc) and Sora (jumping back like "whoa) are the only two that had the Spaz expression. It feels like you aren't even reading your own posts to make sense of it all.

This is why RPG's are ridiculous! Just because a character has 700,000 hp in one game and in a video gets one/five-shotted is impossible to compare. Luca from Chrono Trigger helped save the world from Lavos but in in Chrono Cross was killed by some weak Catguy. See same universe, different rules, and unplayable event. So just because some guy can solo a weapon and another can think of friends to be someone he couldn't beat before does not make it something you can compare. Even worst that you listed Crisis Core because if you played Crisis Core you know Genesis can rip Sephiroth a new one if they fought by that game's rule but again RPG's are horrible at "so and so is stronger then so and so". Dur dur dur anybody in Valkyrie Profile can beat dur anybody in FFVII dur dur!

2. no, i dont think so. weiss is just another person, probably not related in any way to sephiroth. chaos, however, is related to omega, but has that connection similar to zack's relationship with angeal (CC:FFVII).

Sephiroth is by far the best evil character i have ever seen in a game.
Cloud is "id say" just as strong as Sephiroth, since Cloud was meant to be Sephiroths clone, in the end Sephiroth was born with Jenova Cells, and Cloud was injected with them, so why would one be strong than the other.

In FF7 Cloud beats Sephi single alone, right at the end in one final Omnislash.
IN Advent Children the batle is heated, but Cloud wins again, but then again Sephiroth was only part there, since the body was that Kadaj guy.

As for Vincent, being my Fav Character in FF7 saga, after all the xperienments made on his body, he is a god probably, who does not know the xtent of his power. I hated Dirge of Cerberus, only played it for Vincent, i dont mind the story, sort of makes sense.

So yeah i gess its all about good versus bad, and since good normaly wins... we will just leave it as that.

PS: that finishing move Cloud did on advent Children was amazing tho ;)

Not sure I understand what's going on here but to answer a few questions, Vincent is not as powerful as Cloud so he is certainly not stronger than Cloud or Sephiroth. There are a few things that must be understood. Regardless of how anyone views Cloud's career move, which btw has nothing to do with strength, Cloud grew immensely powerful after FFVII. In addition, Cloud's strength would only have increased even further between AC and DoC. As far as Rosso versus Cloud, it is more than accurate to say that she likely retreated. I mean that is what those guys from Deepground do. Granted, Weiss was pretty cool but all those guys did was retreat when the going got tough. And have you thought of it this way; perhaps the only reason Vincent was able to defeat Rosso was perhaps because she was already weakened from her battle with Cloud. That part of course if merely speculation that I could not resist. Anyway, even with Chaos, I find it hard to believe, if not altogether absurd that Vincent could be more powerful than Cloud, and Sephiroth, please! In terms of Weiss's skill, he is far from Cloud's level I think. Don't get me wrong, Weiss was totally BADASS! But lets be honest and keep things in perspective. Do recall that DoC was Vincent's chance in the spotlight, it was his time to shine. So of course his power was going to be all over the place. But when keeping everything in perpsective, I would be hard pressed to believe that Vincent is THAT bad.
