On the plus side I found a No Encouter shield for Tidus so now I can backtrack all I want without any battles to interupt me.

yeah I know, and they didnt really fly either when you think about it, like theyll just stop and hit you even though you were like 2 inches away from em, and when you had to control the chocobo and shit, that was annoying

YESIGOTIT. Caladbolg isn't as awesome as I thought. Meh, it's still pretty good. Now to complete Auron and Rikku's Celestial Weapons. I'm not going to bother with Wakka as I barely leveled him at all and I loathe to play Blitzball again.

Then I'll start collecting items to customize their ultimate armors. (Auto-Potion, Auto-Phoenix, Auto-Haste, Auto-Protect) I'd give Rikku Alchemy but it's a weapon ablity and Godhand is good enough.

I heard that some Celestial Weapons decrease in power as you lose HP. WTF IS THIS SHIT?

You might want to look at getting Ribbon and break HP limit on armour as well (hell hard to do though, fortunately Tidus' Genji Shield came with break HP).

I haven't even hit 6000 HP on any of my characters yet so no thanks. Also I'd rather not get Ribbon. Status effects don't annoy me that much, really, unless I'm fighting Malboros. Even then I can just use Quick Hit and Auto-Haste to hit him like 10 times before he even gets a turn.

Btw, how do you get the Genji Shield? No fucking way I'm collecting five of every monster in the game.

I got it in the Omega Dungeons, pretty sure it was from beating Omega Weapon (sounds about right) but I spent so much time there.

By the sounds of things though, you need to train your characters a bit more to beat him.

Caladbolg IS awesome, better than masamune cause Tidus is much more quicker than Auron :aldo:
Slice & dice and blitz ace mean SERIOUS business especially when his strength is on maximum :aldo:

Caladbolg is good but not as good as Auron's in my opinion. I mean, Auron is slower then Tidus,yes but not so slow that it makes him any less better then Tidus I think

My Tidus was doing twice as much damage as Auron anyway, thrown in being twice as quick and you've got yourself GOODNESS :aldo:

My Kimahri was the weakest ;_; together with Lulu whose black magic gets kinda useless near the end. I made Yuna white mage , black mage and summoner in one >>.

I made Rikku my Black Mage and part-time White Mage, she also became my strongest party member and could attack about 3-5 times in any round.

They're useful for the Dark Aeons as they increase your chance of getting a critical hit, I think.

As for the luck statistics...i never actually bothered, i think you get luck spheres after defeating certain creatures in the monster arena, but that's so much work, so i gave up.

Yuna's my weakest character without her Aeons, and Auron's my strongest--he was the first to get his Celestial weapon and deals out 99,999 damage every time. Tidus is second, followed by Rikku. It took me six hours to complete the chocobo catcher sidequest..

Hm, I guess Caladbolg IS pretty awesome.

Rikku is by far my most useful character, not strongest. She has alchemy and auto-phonix, which is a huge help since it automatically revives dead party members with full HP without taking up a turn. She also has Al Bhed potions which can heal 2000 for each member with Alchemy.

But you know, if you get every character to activate every node on the grid, won't they all be EXACTLY the same? Wouldn't that be kinda boring?

I had a cousin of mine get the Sun Sigil for me, relatively recently, on my Tidus only file. *smirks*

I really hate having to do those..gah.
