Alright, I just posted this thread for the heck of it, but whatever... It works.
Also, support your opinion.
My favorite is Vinny, because, well... I don't remember. All I know is that I have an entire closet of Vinny costumes.

ANd if you're talking about the Highwind scene in the game then I remember that they were waiting there cos the other day they were going to fight Sephiroth, waiting and talking..and if they woke up next to each other it's because Tifa fall asleep and Cloud was awake all night. Vincent, hands down. I mean, he has a red cape, red eyes, a frickin gold claw and he also got a gun called Death Penalty. How cool is not that? (ok, maybe not that cool...)

He does suck at first in FFVII because Death Penalty requires so many kills to properly charge up Attack Power. Oh well. He's my favorite anyways.

I've always been a big fan of both Cloud (esply after Advent Children) and Sephiroth (my all time favourite villain). My favourite female character is Tifa, because I can relate to her more.
What recently surprised while playing Crisis Core was that I came to like Zack A LOT.
SPOILER
His lively and vivacious character makes it very hard to dislike him, and he's definitely much better boyfriend material than Cloud. I was very upset when he died protecting Cloud, even though I knew it was going to happen. I was depressed for days.

My Favorite Character of FF7 is Cloud. The reason?
Well, I think that the past of him, and his whole story is really interesting, and beautiful made. The story about Zack and Aerith, and all about his fight against Sephiroth, and again, and again...etc. xD
I also think his voice in Advent Children is really well made.

My second Favo in FF7 is Vincent. The reasons are almost the same as the reasons for Cloud^^

Sephiroth is my favorite but i picked Tifa because she was always one of my strongest characters and her limit breaks well i could easily do 30,000+ damage with it. However if i were to pick from their story it would be either Cloud, Vincent or Sephiroth i really felt sorry for them especially Sephiroth and i could really relate to Sephiroth but i could REALLY relate to Vincent and i could kinda relate to Cloud all in all i do not have a FAVORITE character so i chose Tifa because she did more damage than any of my other characters except for maybe Cloud they were about equal i guess.

My favorite character is the much hated Yuffie. Normally characters with similar attitudes piss me off. But Yuffie always kinda clicked for me. The materia stealing, the air sickness, the daddy issues:D I just found it all funny. And I liked her part in Dirge. Kinda like an annoying kid sister to Vincent but she was really helpful to and saved him several times.
