Well I just figured out the first part of the Final Fantasy Versus XIII music used for the teaser. I'd like to figure out the rest but it's pretty hard. This is just something for those who are involved in music.
Not the best quality sound like the teaser but u know.

Does your synth have a pedal for that extra sparkle and depth. I remember my piano teacher always added some for me, even if there was non marked on the sheets.

Didnt hear it the first time since my soundcard lost it power to play midi on impact :cunning:

Nice transcription :)

I think the first chord sounds a bit too jubilant though - almost as if it's heralding a victory. It seems as if it's in the major key, rather than in the minor. If I'm not mistaken, the trailer version was in the minor key. I think if that was emphasized more, it would accentuate the "longevity" of an old kingdom that the trailer conveyed - something old, ancient, with its line of kings past untold ages, only to be presented by a conflict leading to a climax.

It must have been pretty difficult to transcribe the music, especially as it nears the vocal melody. Good luck with that, and keep up the awesome work :)

good point. it's in c minor but the song starts off on an Eb major. (i think).
I don't play piano but i know music.
And yes it does get VERY HARD near vocal.

its a bit rushed and there is probably alot of mistakes. If anyone sees any, tell me please.
I have guessed most of the music because it was hard to tell or i couldn't figure out the beat or it was just the gunfire over the top of it.
The sound of the midi is pretty bad (espacially violins) but thats all i had.

You're right - it does sort of transition from major to minor and vice versa several times. Do you play a musical instrument?

Do you play a musical instrument?
yeh I play trumpet (which doesn't help working out the piece of music).
6 years.
have some music knowledge. not the best at composing but i enjoy transcribing because you get to work out your favourites pieces of music.

Its good, but it somehow feels something holds it back a bit in the beginning. Dont know how to explain it. Rest of it is really good, nothing to complain and that.

I would love to hear on a real piano. Nothing beats that.
Anyways - it's nice that you love what you do. During my dislikable years in music school transcribing was my most hated part.

Amazing that you could transcribe all of that. ^_^ Incorperating the vocals and actual piano parts into something that sounds nice put together. That's amazing! It's wonderful!

Okay, I am no Piano genius or something, but some of it does not sound right.

But if you made it up yourself, it is still good, but like I said, some parts of it just do not sound right to me.

Yes. This Thread is bak. and its probably not that important but i have done the music again with the intro thingy of the new trailer. Also i have redone alot of the main song as well so it sounds better. :)

That was great once again! :D I just tested it on my phone...as it's a midi it would make a pretty good ringtone :P.
