Well im going to preorder one in a week or two. Me and my brother are saving up money for it and we'll hopefully get the rest for a pretty early xmas present. We'll probably end up with just a console and no games >_<.

Also in the UK we only get the 60GB model which is the most expensive one costing £450. Though its soo pricey id still prefer the better model because if we're gonna spend soo much we might as well pay a little (heh) extra to get the better model.

I'm definately getting it for Christmas. I'm only 14 so my mom still gets me pretty great Christmas presents. And i'll probably ask for the 60GB model just because it's better. I mean here it's only $600 so I mean it's not to pricey, well it's my mom's getting it for me, so I don't have to pay a cent.

I will be getting a PS3, most definately, but I'll wait a year after its 's released so the price drops at least a little and any bugs in it get worked out. The PS3 will have so many good features and many games I long await (i.e. FF13 Versus, MGS4, DMC4, and isn't Killzone on PS3?).

I cant believe that in some cases they only have around about 10 at each store. Thats ridiculous. When some people camping outside Best Buy found out, they all had a fight to the front acording to the news. So far the worst I've heard is a drive by shooting hitting some people camping out and a reporter...with a BB gun :P

Also today they just banned all PS3 sales on eBay.co.uk. That means no chance for us getting a PS3 before March at all unless we go to somewhere like China Town in New York.

Well from what my cousin said there was alot of people shoving and pushing, but there were enough guards around too keep it balanced, and he mangaged to get the ps3 without any problems!^_^

No, they sold it. Meaning I was outside the day the had reserves placed, I placed mine first and they sold a reserved PS3.

My mom had gone to Wal-Mart and they had 6 PS3's left.......... she was 7th in line. Literally 6 men in front of her all wanting to sell it for thousands on E-Bay. My mother tried to sway them by saying that she was going to give it to her son but they were like "Sorry, it's too much money at stake.", but what are you gonna do?.

Sony Computer Entertainment of America's Dave Karraker confirms that a new shipment of Playstation 3s has landed and will be available at stores by Black Friday.
No word on how many of the Playstation 3s, airlifted to the U.S., was in the shipment, but Karraker says that the company is shipping them on a weekly basis and that they are shooting for 1 million consoles in stores in the U.S. by the end of the year.

Apparently Walmart staff have already said they have them in stock and are going to put them on shelves on Friday. RUN!

Resistance is something else, I just got done with Gears of War and now this. I'm not even a shooter fan but i love them. The system update takes forever too, hope the Wii one doesn't take so long(they had to update out the box as well). I only own resistance and will probably only own it until heavenly sword or motorstorm comes out.

Ebgames/gamestop should be getting new shipments in on wednesday. Might just can't sell them till friday though.

Resistance does look like the PS3's rival to Gears of War. They're both doing really well . Gears of war even knocked Halo 2 off the Xbox Live topspot :S Resistance looked like the only US launch title worth having :/

I look foward to Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion I had played it on my cousins X360 and really liked it. The only thing I didn't like about it was the controls as i'm not so used to X360 controls. And it looks amazing on the PS3.

I have a funny thing with PS's. The first broke after I had played FF IX and got obsessed, then I wasn't allowed to buy PS2, although I had saved the money on my own and now when I'll start school in another city I won't be able to afford it...Maybe when I'm like 30 and single and lonely and there's nothing else to do I can have something like that. Until then I'll have to drool on my computer screen and cry...sympathy, please!

Awwww :( My Playstation still survives to this day. It got dropped and covered in water but it still works perfectly. My old PS2 on the other hand broke even though we kept it in perfect condition but the slim line ones way cooler :P

i can only stay up for 2 nights at the most, 5 is too much for me, but i that guy was awesome, i mean not saying that i agree with everything he said but that guy spoke his mind and made a good point. OMG that guy, LMAO. I could never stay up for 5 nights my record would have to be 3, but 5? Jesus Christ. Sony products are either very resiliant or extremely fragile. Actually my memory stick for my PSP went through the washing machine and the dryer and it still works fine.

Seriously - I'm addicted - my whole life spins around FF. I started to write and draw (better) because of it, I listen, watch and play it and I have even had a couple of dreams related with FF! After diving and drowning in it I am much happier and less depressed and mad...weird, huh...

OMFG I started opening my presents at 12:01 and I got a lot of nice things but no PS3. My mom is still going on about how she tried really hard to get one but just couldn't. So after a while I took all my stuff and went to my room. As i'm going to sleep until morning and as i'm getting into bed I see a big square shadow under my door. I open the door go out into the living room where all my family still is and I sit down on the couch looking around. And my mom's boyfriend is standing in the corner and what do I see on the ground in back of him? SONY on a nice white box. I just started laughing hysterically and gave my mom a big kiss. I GOT A PS3. YEEEAAAAHHHHH BBBOOOIIII!!!!!!!!!! Sorry just so excited. I hope that all of you get your PS3. Peace people. YAY!!

I got one about 3 weeks ago. Resistance is a lot of fun, online and off. Offline its kind of like a horror movie at some parts. I jumped the first time a chimera grabbed me.

I dont have an HDTV but I still think graphics are really nice. Theres a lot of shading and lighting, not to mention how so much can be on the screen at once without any slowdown.

I cant wait for MGS4, Oblivion, FF, and the next Socom.
